Exercise and Physical Activity--booklet available at no charge

The National Institute on Aging has put out a booklet called EXERCISE AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY. It was recently promoted at a residents' meeting in the building I live in, and I latched onto a copy. It is easy to follow and seems to have some good exercises and suggestions. You can get a copy here:

Agate, glad you were able to get the book. It is better for me if I can hold it in my hand and try to work from there.

There was a residents' meeting here where someone from a health-care place gave a presentation and mentioned this book. I sent off for mine, and the building manager sent off for some for this building in general. It's not a huge book (about 120 pp.) and it's not hard to read, with clear illustrations.

Wish I could order this booklet. I have now looked through many of the exercises. If I had the book I think I could go by it and learn to do a lot of them correctly. Some are basically what I am doing now, but not probably as I should be doing.

Looks as if it's out of stock in the print form--I'm sorry, Virginia! They'll probably get it back in stock soon. If not, I'll see if I can locate one for you. The building manager may have some extra copies.
