The quotation from Matthew is one my mother used on me too, Virginia and Dar, except that it was from a different translation:

"Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."

Agate and Sunshine both good things we got from our Mothers. Peace is my favorite word (with chocolate coming in high on the list)👍

Peace and chocolate. Sounds OK by me.

Virginia and agate, yes, my quote is from a modern translation. I also own a King James version, but I prefer the modern translation.

Sunshine, you truly warmed my heart, as you quoted my dear mother's favorite verses of the Bible, Numbers 6:24-26. The wording was a little different so it took me a minute to recognize it. My mom read the Bible through 4 times before her death, and out of all the verses she read, Numbers 6:24-26 was her favorite.

Mothers can be a source of precious memories for sure. With all the problems we face today, it is vital to have positive information at our disposal and reliable resources to turn to, so that we can manage our stress along with our health. Otherwise, we could be overcome by it all. Virginia, I surely empathize with you and I hope you are able to apply the advice about taking one day at a time. It really does work.

Thank you my dear Sunshine. I am glad I have the energy to chime in again. I'm hoping it lasts and I will be back here on a regular basis. I probably need to give out my email address, just in case I get hit by an unexpected flare-up. Anyone who wants to exchange email addresses can just PM me and I will be happy to do so.
