    Pain Question

If you or someone you love had been taking four to six 10MG hydrocodone /day for the past 20-some years, and then all of a sudden, for whatever reason, such pain-killers were no longer available in your town/state/province/country, what would you do?
    Thanks for playing along.

    Hi, chksix,
This board isn't a source of expert medical opinion. Your question deserves an expert answer. This sounds like a risky way of taking a drug that is known to be habit-forming. I hope that the person will consult with a doctor as soon as possible, before the supply of the drug runs out, because it is one of those drugs that need to be tapered off if the person needs to stop taking it.
    SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.

Thanks for your reply, agate. Fortunately, my VA doctors are addressing my pain.
