    Kathleen's Buddy Walk!

If you would like to see our Buddy Walk( a walk to raise money to support individuals with Down Syndrome, Kathleen was also born with Down syndrome as well as Moyamoya which is what caused ehr strokes at 5 yrs. old) page follow this link. No pressure to donate, I just want to share a couple pictures on the page of Kathleen from last years buddy walk and a picture of Kathleen and her sister Kelly. Last year our team raised $1,000. We've just doubled our goal and if we reach this goal My husband will be shaving his head for the Walk day! We're very excited and I know Kathleen will LOVE watching him get his head shaved. The money from this is well spent on local families and nationwide. Did you know that 9 out of 10 pregnancies that are diagnosed as carrying a baby with Down syndrome are terminated??? These number are alarming and I feel sad for all of those who missed out on the chance to have the kind of joy and love in their life that we were blessed with. One mission of our local Down syndrome resource center is to educate the public about all the wonderful things our kids are capable of and to help individuals with DS grow to their greatest potential. It takes a lot of resources to make this happen BUT it's well worth it. Take a look if you get a chance and see Kathleen's wonderful smile!!!

    Hi Mary,
I've tried the link twice, and I come up with an Internet site called "Blackbaud." (Is there another way to get there?)
    Thanks,
