I didn't realize it had a name. I've been laughing and/or crying for no reason since I had my injury. I've had to walk out of church because of my uncontrolled laughter. My husband has gotten used to my crying. He'll ask if I"m ok and I'll tell him it isn't anything. He realizes that it really isn't anything and just goes on as if I'm not crying. I wish everyone understood it. What seems weird to me is I'll laugh or cry, then it suddenly stops and that is that. The only emotion associated with it is the emotional reaction to the fact that I was laughing or crying without reason.
