    Well hello there....

I bet some of you remember me, and I bet to some of you, I'm a new face. I remember Mark N, that's for sure.

I'm back, and am scheduled for another (this'll be number 4) surgery on my back. I've done various little procedures, ESIs, radiofrequency ablations, and now I've damaged the two disks above my L4-L5 fusion. Which is actually my L5-L6 since I have an extra vertebrae.

I'm going in for surgery on 12/2, and currently it's going to be a L2-S1 interbody fusion with instrumentation.

Aside from that, I've not been up to much, just been at school.

Lisa, it is good to see you again but like always I am sorry it is because you are dealing with more spinal trouble. Good luck with the surgery, Big Joe and Carol both just have gone through spinal surgery and are doing well during recovery. You are getting a number of disk fused but just take it easy during recovery so your body has time to heal. My lumbar fusion was 15 years ago and still doing well. I will be keeping track of you to see how the surgery went and how you are doing in recovery.

Hey Lisa... welcome back. As Mark said, I just went through another process. Doing well at one month out. I will be glad to get rid of this brace, though it can be comfortable in its own odd way at times. Hang in there. We are walking through this with you. You will be in our prayers and we are here when you need us. I know you are not looking forward to that much surgery, but like me, there comes a time when it does not matter whether you look forward to it or not, it has to be done. Take care and have a Great Day!

Hi Lisa........Nice to meet you, but not under the circumstances of needing surgery. I've been coming to the forum periodically over many years. This was my first spinal surgery about 3 weeks ago, c3-c7. Lot of nice people here with great suggestions and words of encouragement. I hope your surgery turns out well. I am recuperating well, but is a little bit early to see if the fusion takes or not. Hi again to Mark and Joe!!
