    Medicinal mushrooms

Hi all. Thought I would give an update on my microdosing for depression and anxiety. Depression gone. Anxiety gone. I strive to live in a state of centeredness and am doing quite well. I only microdose occasionally now. If I feel like I need a mood boost I might take a tiny dose for say four days. I have discovered that while the microdosing can help create new neural pathways beyond those perceived threats of fight or flight the very basic mind work is the trick. I don't use my past to base my emotions on the now and I don't doom think the future anymore. I did do a heroic dose and even though I don't remember much of it I do remember letting go of much sadness. I didn't dose for a couple months after. I didn't feel like I needed to. I do plan to continue to micro as my medications change to help with any withdrawals. Also it should help with quitting smoking. I have not set a date for that yet.

Now you may read all that and think cool, I'm gonna start microdosing. Get rid of the depression and anxiety. But there is a learning, an understanding, what we call a mindflip that happens in order for it to stick. Or you might be a microdoser for the rest of your life. Which is fine, many do. Somehow I came to the mindflip before my microdosing. The shrooms helped me see more clearly, and helped me get out of that fight or flight stage I was in. My ego doing its job.

The true culprit all these years was my ego. Ego is a tricky bastard as my mentor says. Your ego is literally every thought you have. And it has become very comfortable in what it knows. Life is hell, pain, misery, PTSD etc. It has become accustomed to living in that state of fight or flight and will fight kicking and screaming at any kind of change you try to make. It will tell you what you are doing is stupid, pseudoscience, denying all the scientific proofs, you are crazy, it can't be this easy. And let's stick to the usuals that our ego says to us, we're stupid, we're embarrassing, we're miserable, pain rules our life and so much more. When you see your ego for what it is and what it does and understand what it tries to do then you become in control because your ego is no longer in control. And you, what are you? What are we? At our most basic level. Once you figure that out the magic happens. You become connected to life.

I get up and the second my feet hit the floor I start my mantra, out loud, while I am still in a bit of sleep state. We are more receptive to neural change in that brain wave state. I don't turn on my phone or computer, for the first maybe half an hour and then once I am dressed and have gotten my coffee I spend 15 minutes watching funny videos, whether it is animals, babies, or human fails. This morning laughter can stick with you all day even though you don't realize it. I have changed my morning thought process from dwelling on hated daily chores or adulting that needs to be done to look at all the possibilities the day brings. I am in control of what I do and think. It no longer is a negative thing. I journal occasionally, mostly to keep track of my progress or any new thing I learned. I meditate. Mostly guided healing meditations while I am outside in my special spot and I Earth while I do it. Another proven science. Fantastic for inflammation.

In this process I have learned that we are all matter and are divinely connected. I have learned about frequencies, particularly the Solfeggio frequencies, and have found that music is a huge healer for me, self-healing meditations with Joe Dispenza, living in inner peace, and resting in awareness with Adyashanti. Barbara O'Neill and Gary Brecka for holistic healing. The unified field through Albert Einstein and David Lynch and transcendental meditation. Quirky duo there LOL. Pastor and friend Rebecca Johns for my spiritual education of the true meaning of Yeshua's message. My mentor and friend author Clifford Trip Maxwell of Chop Wood, Carry Water Facebook group has been very generous and patient with me, his teachings are based on mostly far Eastern practices, his group is open for whoever is seeking help. And so much more.

I have come to see a connection to everything. The synchronicities are incredible once you know them for what they are. Life is great. I am living again instead of just existing.

Has my pain gone? No. Does it rule my life? No. I have done more in the last six months than I have done in the last 3 years. Maybe longer. Pain has not left, but it is less, more manageable now that my ego no longer has the controls in its grubby hands lol. Do I still get down? Yes. But it is never for long and now I have powers LOL.

The ego never goes away, it is you, but sometimes you gotta pat it on the head, thank it for doing its job by making sure you are safe and send it on its way.

If anyone would like some help or advice I will do the best I can so feel free to contact me.

It's such good news that you're finding ways of coping that you find helpful! I'm another one who has to ease into each day with some soothing routines. Days when that doesn't happen are apt to be much more stressful all along.
    SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.

yes the morning routine is so very important. There was a time when as soon as I opened my eyes in the morning all the things that needed to be done, all the adulting, would start running its hamster wheel of doom LOL. Trip's mantra started working the day I started it. There have even been a few times that I woke and was in so much pain I would be crying but make myself say the mantra through the tears anyway and by the time I was done I would be better.

Thank you for sticking with me Agate, I appreciate it immensely.
