Answer: You are in the "registered users" user group. This group is very limited in what it can do. This will annoy spammers to no end
Just keep posting once you have been registered for 30 days and have made 11 posts your account will be "unlocked".
It's really easy to put someone on ignore and it's strongly recommended that you do so with people who's posts you don't like.
Step 1 - log in
Step 2 - click on the "settings" link
Step 3 - click on the "edit ignore list" link on the left side of the screen
Step 4 - type (or paste if you copied and pasted it) the username of the person you want to ignore
Step 5 - click the "ok" button on the right of the screen
Easy peasy and will lower your blood pressure. One important note though, this won't hide quoted posts. It's an oversight on the developers part and it's not an easy thing to "fix." So if someone quotes someone you have ignored, you'll see the quote.
Alternatively when you click on a person's name and view their profile page, underneath their avatar, there is a option that says, "Ignore this person". Click that link and then click the yes button. -
I have tried all available styles in both IE and FF. I just don't see a "Home" tab :(Comment

Howdy folks :) I changed up the layout of the "Home" page and am looking for some input :) Keep in mind this will probably change again when I have some other issues sorted out and the time to really fancy it up some more :)Comment

Yes, the "Home Page" is where I log on. I check the "latest news" first. I'm glad you moved the box from the middle to the side concerning the beginnings of Brain Talk.
I'm not really sure what the purpose of all of the stuff is. Once you read it I have found nothing new posted except for Davids post. I read there often to see what he has added.
I always look into the "new news". Most are out of the Forums I usually go to and this gives me a chance to respond to the news if I have any thing to add. Sometimes I just say hello or "thanks" for a post.

The right side was meant to be a history of BT throughout the years but has been placed on hold while other things were addressed. I'm thinking about other things to place in that area (as well as a new different look) like a "member of the month" type of thing. There are some other behind the scenes stuff that I still need to address, the many years of neglect left a lot of work to be done to return BT to it's former glory.

I have Braintalk set to my "favorites" list so I don't have to waste stumbling through soo many tabs or links. I t taks my directly to the Epilepsy forum.

I just noticed on the Home Page Top 10 Posts a post to the Moderator Forum. Might I suggest that you make that Forum private? If it's possible to take the Moderator Forum off of the Top 10 list, I think that would be a good idea. We don't need to see the spammers' names, etc. in titles, then if we click on that post, we discover it's closed to Moderators only.
Just a thought ...
