I've been waiting for years! Problem is, there are a thousand people, clawing for one, apartment!!
There's just not enough housing!

all i can make of it is I sure don't understand her thinking at all. It is not candy you are needing but you can be sure I do understand what it is you are needing. nope it takes all kinds of humans but there are sure some kinds to be found just about anywhere!!!

You should just buy what you need for med supplies and then tell your mom you will pay her when you can. Do you help around the house? Maybe you could do something instead of paying her until you get what you need.

Phyllis, your sister moved out right? now your mom is short on that rent money right? well it's NOT your fault! I'd go ahead & buy the med. supplies you need & give her what you can afford after that. if she cannot accept that then let her know you will do everything possible to find another place to live.

Pati, it may not be her "fault", but,.............................................. .

She *can't*, make it without, my rent. And if *she* becomes homeless, then, I do , also!!
I'm on *tons* of lists for an Apt., but, there's nothing available, because, there are 100, people scratching &
clawing for one, apartment! I can't get just, some, apt. It needs to be section 8, where, I pay only, 30%
of my SSI check. Also, it needs to be accessible. So, I really do, have lots of things, standing in my way,
right, now. I can't, just "get", an apartment!

I'm on *a zillion* lists for a Apt.!! But, I've been on them for, years, because, the wait is extremely,
long, because, there are 100 people, needing one, apartment! Nothing, is going to happen, anytime,
soon. Oh, no, the doggies are really, ours/ my moms'!:) We keep them!!:)

not that it helps out with the money pat, but I am glad your mother isn't jusat as hard hearted as first glance sounded. I kept thinking, there must be more to this. Wish there was, like more money for you so you and mom had security. everybody loves security i know i do.
