The day "da Bears" played da 'Boys" I had nobody to cheer for, go figger, eh? I live in TX and I had to logged on to nfl.com to see what was happening on the field, my sister gave me a link to a Green Bay radio station so I can hear the live action. (Let me know if you want the link.) She calls me and I get what is happening from her. On games that are nationly televised she calls and we 'watch' the game together. I have a great family!

Pati, lol lol lol lol and I'm still laughing. I thought perhaps they forgot to dress or thought maybe they came up with those "lol" here I go again. I'll start over.

If they distracted the other team enough they would maybe have a chance to maybe win??

I'll shut my mouth up before you make that "K" call so he could have me commited.

Thanks for the smiles and chuckles. Which reminds me of Louis my produce man that brought me fresh foods of all kinds when I still had the Catering Shop. He always came in with the smiles and chuckles. I really liked him. He was a very special friend.

OK, I'm done. I'm going to start a list for the best and worse uniforms.

        love ya, Jo

MAN!!!!!!! The PACK got their butts whipped Sunday night. My sister V called me to 'watch' the game together, then she 3-wayed called my sister K and we had a ball. K got the broadcast about 5-6 seconds before V and I did. K was getting it off an antenna and V and I have Dishnetwork. Of course K was cheering (or moaning) about the play while V & I were seeing them line up. K said that all her husband was doing was shaking his head about the fun we were having. In 2 weeks the PACK will play the Lions on Sunday night and we will have another 3-way call going. We also decided that we don't have to have a game to watch to have a 3-way call! I looked up how to do it and told V and she started the call.

they did win today!!!!! I swore I'd burn my Seahawk's shirt if they didn't.

now waiting for the Raven's to finish off the Steeler's. which makes me think of Leo & wonder how she's doing.

and the Packer's won! so far a pretty good football day I'm thinking.

YES it was...... My sister I 'watched' the game together this afternoon. And, of course, we both wanted 'da Bears' to do exactly what they did..... Next Sunday evening V, K and I will have another 3-way phone call as the Pack plays the Lions. I will have to buy some extra snacks for V & K to listen to me munch on...!!!! K had to work today so she wasn't in on the call this afternoon.

Jan I think that's great how you have the phone conversation during the game! How fun! It's like a party but you can so at home and wear your Jammie's! I love it!

Ok the Pack is in the lead! Whoohoo! Double D - love when he's out there - my fave player (Donald Driver).

Gotta say a word for the Univ. of Wisconsin Badgers now! Going to the Rose Bowl baby!!! My husband is an alum and the school I went to didn't have a football team so I am an honorary alum of WI!

Love football! Wish the high school season went a little longer. Then again my son G sprained his ankle on a run at the end of the season. He's a running back and Cornerback. Man those tackles scare the heck out of me!

                        Go Packers!!!

Big news over here is that Wis. head coach Bielema is headed for Arkansas. He quit the team and will not be coaching in the Rose Bowl. Speculation is that Barry Alvarez the school’s athletic director might be coaching the team for the Rose Bowl while he looks for another head coach. Bielema reportedly signed for 4 mil with the razorbacks . He was making 2.5 mil at Wis.

The Packers: Looks like another player to be put on injured reserve and out for the rest of the season. Running Back James Starks suffered a knee injury in the Viking Game. The Pack has just signed their former running back Ryan Grant .

MrsJ, all my husband P. said throughout the season was "Bielema sucks," lol. How cool if Barry coaches for the Rose Bowl! Sweet. He is the man behind it all anyway.

                                Sly,

At the news conference yesterday, Alvarez announced he will be coaching the team at the Rose Bowl. It will be for just this one game. He said he would be looking for a head coach but would be looking into that himself and not using a search org. He says that search orgs. Often come to him for recommendations anyway. He also said his wife will be happy to get him out of the house for a while. LOL

The team is delighted that Alvarez will be coaching them for this last game. Wisconsinites are hoping that they will finally win the Rose Bowl. Although Bielema has taken them there he has not won it. Alvarez took them there 3 times and won with the last time being in 1999. That is the bad rapt on Bielema. His coaching especially in the close games was often criticized not only by viewers but by the press. What your husband stated is what I have heard of Bielema. Around here folks gave him the nickname of Fred Flintstone.

                                Joy

Good Luck to the Arkansas program in their hiring of Bielema.
