I'm here! I'm here! Sorry to have been absent, no excuse, really...just depressed and tired. I never get enough sleep...wake up every morning at 4am, sometimes earlier. It's been so bitterly cold here, too, which is a strain.


Not much new. My dear little parrot, Skye, broke his leg several weeks ago. The vet set it, put on a splint which just came off. Thankfully, he's all healed and is good as new. I was terribly upset, as you can imagine.

Dawn, I have missed Pati too. Has anyone heard from her? When one of ours goes missing it is very troubling. I remember dear Tootsie. She was here most of the time. then all of a sudden, no more Tootsie. I kept writing here and about 2 months later I got mail from her hubby, telling me she had passed away.

Everybody loved Tootsie. We all knew she had health problems, but Tootsie never talked about it. She was oh so busy trying to cheer everybody else up. I shall miss her the rest of my life.
