Thank you, Chris! I've heard people say they're getting too old for birthdays but I don't feel that way. I'm thrilled whenever anyone remembers.
Rose, my dinner menus have a ridiculous sameness to them but somehow it works for me. After giving up on "real" cooking about 10 years ago (chopping, peeling, mincing, dicing vegetables and cooking them according to various recipes, then freezing individual servings of the result) I tried to vary the dinner menus--an Amy's frozen meal one day, a packaged beans and rice the next, followed by a packaged macaroni/cheese, followed by a pizza, etc. For several years I used Smart Ones frozen dinners often but they cut back on their meatless offerings. Nowadays I just slice about one-seventh of a frozen nonmeat pizza and bake it, add a vegetable and some V8 juice and that's dinner. The vegetable is either frozen cauliflower, frozen Italian veggies, fresh broccoli, or frozen mixed vegetables of some other kind. I load the cauliflower with fancy Hungarian paprika to jazz it up. It's kinda bland otherwise.
