Well, just so all of you know I am still trying to do something. I don't post about it because it is the same thing every day. But I do 20 side kicks with each leg, 20 back kicks, 20 squats, 20 calf stretches where I stand on toes, and 20 sits to stands. These are easy exercises and not much, but since I can't get on the floor anymore it is what I do. I try to do them slowly because it is suppose to be better that way so even though it is not much exercising it take a little while to do them.

Keeping up with those daily routines is so important, I think. Congratulations on doing them, Virginia! I've been doing some very similar ones too, ever since the physical therapist sent me home with instructions to keep up with them.

Actually she also said to do more of them as time went by but I haven't done much of that yet even though it was a couple of years ago when she said that. I've been so proud of myself for doing them each day that I haven't moved on to increasing them.

        SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.

I think you are all doing grand.

I’m off my PT routine for a bit as I was too eager and aggravated my back (or maybe I picked up something too heavy in the garden).

Ann, when I get a back problem I lay off my exercises until it has cleared up. I never want to aggravate a back problem.
