Time to gain an hour--Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend

I just now realized that Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend. I for one am really happy to have an extra hour just now.

Yes .... spring forward and fall back. I've changed a couple of my clocks but still have more to go. And the most important clocks I have are radio controlled and will change themselves. Oh, how I love those clocks. The kitchen microwave and range will have to be changed and are new to me. I hope they aren't too complicated. The clock in my car is super easy and fast to change.

Clocks that make that change automatically are great. My clock radio and computer and captioning phone do that but I'll still be setting the microwave, the range, and my old-fashioned wristwatch that has a dial.

Lets see, I have the microwave and range and the electric clock by my bed. Any others are automatic.

I love looking at the clock tonight and realizing it is an hour earlier than the clock says.

I seem to have used up my extra hour already. I had big plans for that hour.

My cat usually wakes me up sometime between 4:00 and 4:30 demanding breakfast. I thought this morning's demand would be earlier, but apparently she knew about the change. She was screaming and slapping my face at 4:15 standard time.

Wonder how she knew? Cats are amazing. And they're the world's best alarm clocks. When they think it's feeding time, they're not about to wait patiently while you sleep.
