:)Hi all. I am still kind of numb. Peg and Cherie feel better. Happy Birthday parsi.
David's Mom and sister left yesterday and got there before they had all 32 inches of snow. She sent me a photo and even the picture made me cold.
At David's service the Navy had to do the flag before sundown so it was at 5:45. However the funeral director told the minister to be there at 7. So we sat around for an hour and quite a few left. David's sisters had gone through my albums and made a nice collage.
After they left yesterday I went to bed and slept through until this morning. I now feel half way human but there are so many reminders of David everywhere in here and I feel sad.
I still have no voice and my scooter died just before the service. I got a new pair of batteries yesteray. Trying hard to stay positive. I know David has no pain now. Jeanie :)

Jeanie, glad to hear you are hanging in there. Right now that is about all you can do. Just try to be as kind to yourself as you can be. Rest when you want to, cry when you want to and if you decide you want to try to get out do that also. Our thoughts are still with you. Your David is at peace now, so try to think of yourself and your needs as much as possible. Time will heal, but two deaths that close is tough - and so are you.
Boy, did the people of parts of New England and Long Island get hit hard. I hope Cherie, and Renee are both warm and have power. I feel for those who do not have any power and are in the cold and without lights.
This is the spot were neat graphics would go if I knew how.
Construction has begun on the new house! The demo was finished and yesterday the porta potty and the trash dumpster were delivered and this morning the foundation was dug. It has been along haul and now am pretty sure the light at the end of the tunnel is sunshine instead of a oncoming train.
Jeanie here if you need us.
Having saitica problems so I am trying some PT before going to surgeon. No one thinks it will work but my doc said go ahead it wont hurt........ much! I just don't want the MS to flare with all that I have going on. It has gotten to the point that I can hardly walk through Wal-Mart any more with out either sitting down or almost laying over the shopping cart then the front half of my foot goes to sleep. Always something.
The deep freeze has gone away and we are having more normal temps low 40's and low 20's at night. we had a lot of snow that melted and turned our place into mud central we had a couple days of wind and dried it up.
Hi Gary,
That's so exciting that they're starting in on the actual work for your new home. I hope you'll keep us posted about how it's coming.
I've had quite a few bouts of sciatica, and PT helped every time, without extra meds or any surgery. Once or twice it was so bad I couldn't walk at all.
I did have to keep at the PT and do all of the routines I was told to do, and it did take time, but it did work.
:) Hi everyone. Late birthday wishes for Linda. I have had my sons here a lot and they want to do this and that and I run out of steam. I told them to let me have Sat, Sun and Mon off so I could rest. I stayed in bed until 4 yesterday and until 3 today and I feel better.
I still do not have my voice back completely but I can talk a little above a whisper now. I have been reading David's journals from the year we met and it brings back a lot of good memories. I hope as I read through the 21 years we were together that I find many more good times to think about.
I have a lot to do but need to find out how to do titles to vehicles in David's name. I can't let all 4 vehicles sit unrun or they won't be worth as much. I can only start the 62 P1800 Volvo and the 93 GMC Coachhouse RV. The bikes I can't remember how. My sons are neither one bikers either. I will see if one of David's biker friends can come over and run them for a few minutes.
I feel overwhelmmed. David has been dead 16 days but it feels like yesterday. My mind goes in 10 directions. I have to sit down and meditate to stop it. I'm praying it gets easier. Please keep me in your prayers. Jeanie :)
