Looks like the great blue herons are about to hatch, with the first pip today. I'm really looking forward to seeing the little ones from the very beginning this year since I came in on the heron's nest a little late last year. They are so interesting and different than all the other nesting birds I've watched. This nest in in Ithaca NY.
