Ooo. I got a taste of Fels Naptha when I was three.
Mom had no idea what a potty mouth I would become regardless.

Next MS pharmaceutical should be named Beezlebub.
All in favor, say aye, matey.

Renee, I'm having a devil of a time pronouncing that.

Agate, are you sipping something? Adding some brandy to your tea? Maybe you should measure it. ;)

No, Scout's honor. Some of those drug names just sent me right around the bend.
          SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.

Ocrelizumab, according to an MS nursing on line Continuing ed program two weeks ago, has never shown any indication of PML being a potential problem. There are two arms of the current trials with that drug. One is with drug naive newly diagnosed people with RRMS and one with those who have had it for years and are thought to have PPMS. Both groups are doing quite well with a reduction in relapse and a reduction in EDSS scores. It is now in Phase III but has only Phase II results to share. I am hopeful for the thousands who have PPMS with no treatment effective to date.

Tcelna is in clinical trials in small groups all over the country but will only take people up to the age of 60 in the trials. DRAT! And , since it uses your own blood cells to develop a vaccine for YOU....seems to be working well in almost all who are in the trials with no major problems associated with it. They are already using this technology quite successfully in treating Prostate and breast cancers and other auto immune disorders so I see real promise for this one.

The others, I have not heard enough about to offer an opinion on.
