I told you he needed a tighter one!

          (((((HUGS TO ALL)))))) ~

Forgive me for intruding, but I am compelled to tell you all that your OT threads are a highlight of my BT visits. Haiku, birds, and chatting here brightens my day, brings me a smile, often a chortle, and occasionally, I spit out my coffee laughing.

Yes, a decade ago it seems, things were different, and that caused folks to vamoose. But we are under new management now, with very kind, caring Moderators. So those who were dissatisfied under the old regime should be contacted and encouraged to return here. It will be better than the old days.

What we lack in numbers here at BT is more than compensated for by compassion, heart, and kindred spirits, who understand each other's plights.

As I've said in other threads about the state of BT, it is up to us to make BT the community we want it to be, and the only way that we can do that is to participate. We can't change it, improve it, or make it more attractive to former and new members, if we lurk in the shadows.

The MS forum is probably our most active forum, just based on my informal assessment of activity here daily. You successfully mix social contact and discussion about MS, and you enjoy your time here. You're here for each other, and when a new person visits, you are there for that person. I know I don't belong here, but you let me slip in now and then, and treat me like I belong. Thank you.

Now, Howie ~ Your fans are begging you not to retire. Don't let them down.

Howie, it looks like I joined about 3 years after you did but I left then because it seemed like everyone was so darn serious.

You want more people to be around having fun here on weekends, is that it? Are you hanging out somewhere else then? If so, where?

Yes, Rose--never mind about the coffee you're spilling! The cabana boys will mop it up. They love being of service!

Looking good there, Gary! In California, was it? Looks like all the working out you've been doing has really helped.

                            ((((((Gary)))))) ~

So, we know by your avatar that you're a dairy farmer, and now we know that you're a sex symbol. The question remains, "Are you a brilliant brain surgeon?"

And, by the way, my husband absolutely loves your signature line.

                            To answer your question ~

I don't have MS; however, one of my dearest friends has MS-like symptoms, which is one of the reasons why I like to keep up with the MS forum. I guess that's where I feel like I might be intruding here. Certainly, none of you has ever made me feel like an intruder! Far from it! You've welcomed me.

I appreciate the wit and wisdom here among you all. Your camaraderie is uplifting.

                            Not to mention your photographs!

Howie ~ dagnabbit ~ look what you started! Get your cabana bananas back here!

If she meant what I think she meant by PIA it has nothing to do with computers.
