    September Chit Chat #2

The month is only half through, but we had nine pages, so here I am.

I just picked up meds, and took trash to the dump. Now I sitting with one of my cats, sipping coffee, Life is good!

I was just thinking the same thing man its getting long.

For anyone in the south west I see that you are gonna get wet. For anyone who has never seen a flash flood anywhere in the SW it it scary and even in the cities it can get bad fast.

I cut half the grass yesterday and today I SHOULD cut the rest. I shouldn't complain I have a riding lawn mower but it still takes 2 hours.
I like to have a nice yard and I try to keep it weed free. We have a family joke about remotes, I have one for my underground sprinklers, when you adjust them you walk back and forth turning them on and off. I have a garden cart that I pull behind the mower and carry tools, pipe fittings etc. So I don't have to stumble around.

When our house burned the fire dept had trouble knocking down the flames upstairs they cut a hole in a wall and threw stuff out the hole We watched them and something big and white flew out the hole, one of the firemen came up to my wife and I with it and it was her wedding dress slight smoked damaged even the fire dept was impressed as nothing else upstairs was even recognizable.

Weddings are expensive I could not imagine spending thousands of dollars on a wedding.

Storm blew through last night lots of lighting and about 10 drops hit the house. Just as well everyone has onions coming off and they don't need the rain for another couple weeks.

Morning Howie and Gary. Nice to see you men up and at um today.
What with the killer fires in one section and the flash floods in another,
it's sad to say that God can't get them together somehow. Very odd for
California/NW to be so dry and Arizona/SW to be so wet. If I were God,
I'd tilt the world and let the floods put out the fires. Good thing I'm not,
        huh?

I be fine, just waiting for a little snow!!!
        Love, Sally

Bite your tongue, Sally! I am absolutely dreading the first snow!

Snow is a four letter word! Where is a moderator when you need one?? Lol
Yeah I'm still here.still in bed 20 hours a day. Pressure sore is healing, but taking its own sweet time to do so. Weight is up a bit, everything else is stable for now. Thank whoever it was who invented the kindle, my major source of entertainment -- that and my cats. I certainly don't want snow -- have to travel once a week, 45 miles one way, to the wound clinic, and don't want to do that in snow!
Otherwise nothing new going on here...

Can we arrange to only have it snow on Sally and not on anyone else?

I am ready for snow, mostly because I look out the window at it and this year son is home and he can plow the road.

It got up to 70 here today but has been overcast and windy. Mid 50s last night. I finally gave up and put a warmer blanket on the bed today when I changed the sheets. david is continuing to scrape and prime the front of the house after getting the back done a couple of weeks ago. When I left for work this morning, there were two ladders up against the front and there he was on a small steep section of roof scraping the window trim. I said a little prayer that he not fall off. He tells me he is now done with the scraping and priming and it is just a matter of putting the green back over the primer.2013-05-12 13.35.02.jpg He was on the little piece of roof below the bump out window.

My niece saw her neurologist today after 17 years of symptoms that have not been taken seriously, the diagnosis is "demyelinating disease of the Central Nervous System". More tests and a diagnosis in three weeks.

Sally wants what? Snow??? I'm planning on sending you any flakes that come my way. Specially packaged to keep them fresh.

It's a tossup whether I dislike extremely hot weather or snow more. Either one means I can't go anywhere.

Snow is more likely to immobilize me because things here have a way of shutting down when it snows, and so there's no point in even trying to go to an appointment or whatever.

Good news from Cat Dancer about the weight and the pressure sore from Cat Dancer! Do you have four cats now?

Gary, reading your post makes me very glad that I don't have to deal with grass. Just a small concrete slab of a patio keeps me busy enough.

Soon this board should be looking more normal, I've heard, and the Thanks button might be back soon.
