    OT. Blizzard!? Maybe.

I am in the northeast and the forecast is for a blizzard. We had a plowable snowstorm just yesterday and now a worse one is predicted for tomorrow!

I was so proud of myself for going out and shoveling for short chunks of time yesterday.
Exhausting but makes me feel human to clean the porch and the cars. (Not so impressive as we have a big farm and friends came with plows to cover about an acre around the house and greenhouses. Now, I am worn out and worse is on the way. Oh no!

I know I am getting old since snow frightens me now and I did not run out to make a snow person or have a snowball fight yesterday with the perfect wet snow. Now I just want it to magically stay away.

Good luck with the storm wherever you are.

That's not old to feel that way, Linda.
Some battles get very old and tiresome, unlike humans
    you can't ignore them easily.

We didn't get your latest snow but this latest 9-10 inches is bad timing
    for travelers...
Boy, that prediction got my bottom out of bed and into research mode.

I just need a place to stash my van while the city plows everyone else in.
A driveway can wait but not onstreet parking.
The DPW will tow us at 4 a.m.

Hot cocoa and a woodstove for all those sitting this one out.

Yesterday's storm did need shoveling but it's lovely here today. However, tomorrow is another story. 18-24 inches due here and we are not even close to the worst of the storm which covers several States.

Not much snow under the sea I take it. It's just gorgeous. Why don't you come over and shovel it? I may even make you some cocoa if you behave. Maybe it'll even be hot!

So far only a dusting here in western MA

(I live on the border between MA and CT) and the CT weather people say that it will snow 3" an hour from midnight until noon tomorrow! With strong blowing winds my farm will have drifts that will really stay until spring!

              Good luck everyone!

Renee, did it alter your holiday plans at all, or are you still on track?

In Massachusetts they believe that if a little snow is a good thing, more snow is much better. Enjoy! Who knows when you'll get this lucky again! You might have to wait till May. I remember a bad ice storm in the Boston area on May 9. Lots of fun shoveling, no power for 4 days. They LOVE this kind of thing there.

ANN, I hope you're basking in the warm-but-not-too-warm sun somewhere.
