OT Febuary Chit Chat

Are you guys all in bed? We sure know how to party here on the East Coast. I'm sitting here on the bed, with my cat Sam stretched out on my lap, and we're watching Star Trek TNG.

Actually, I'm keyed up about tomorrow, or rather today. My nephew MAY come by today, and make the calls to get my computer, phone, and TV from one place. I still have TV and computer for some reason, but that's fine with me.

I have a gazzilion DVDs I can always watch. Even some VHS tapes. Remember those old things?

I took one sleeping pill instead of my usual 2, but don't think 2 would have made any difference. Well, sleep well sleepy heads!

I didn't realize you were such an enthusiast! I found out by poking around on Google that that flower show you're going to is "the nation's largest and longest-running flower show."

That sounds like great fun, a place where you can wander around and take your time, without feeling rushed.. And see lots of spectacular plants!

Lordy, I was raised by early suburban tree-huggers and am at least a third generation lover of flowers.
My mother and her anglo-american mom gardened and arranged flowers for the love of beauty.

In 1965 I was potting bulbs in the fall for the springtime NY International Flower Show
Children's Division.
It was wonderful.

I have yet to find a year round Donut producing plant.
