Funny how many people watch these live cams, over 4,000 at the moment!

Mom/dad just sitting with some wiggly furballs right now.

Sally, yesterday and today when I looked, the nest was empty. Or at least it looks empty to me. I looked around on the Website for details but so far haven't found anything.

I saw parent with one, here's explanation of second, it's okay, just got tangled in some wire and was taken out to be rehabilitated. Screenshot_2016-02-10-15-31-01-1.jpg

Drones sound like too much potential trouble for non-home recreational use than they are worth.
Just because you can do something doesn't mean it is a good thing to do.

Except for birds and stars, I prefer a clutter-free sky.

                  Kites are the exception.

And drones are so UGLY! Or at least I can't find anything to like about them. Kites are graceful and colorful. So are birds though I'm not fond of vultures.

Anything remote-controlled in the sky gives me the creeps. It can always drop down by accident and hit someone. Hard.

Both chicks are back in nest, but Mom is ignoring the sick one.

Left alone in the nest, the baby albatross seems to be in command of the situation and not minding at all. Scratching its head with its claw and looking around.

I noticed the eagles and hawks carrying sticks and branches down towards the river nests. They will circle the nest several times and often sit nearby watching to see if anything is watching them. In the beginning if there is too much interest in their nest site they will up and move it. Something I have noticed by watching through our patio door.

Heh. Sounds as if you scared them off, Gary.
