I terrorized another person with MS today

The ocean was nearly flat today. Me and two surf buddies were just lying on our board laughing and paddling around.
Some 36ish old attractive woman was floating and gradually making her way up to us. Then she was right by us and asked if we were giving a surfing lesson (hilarious!)we laughed and I asked her if she surfs.

Her: No. I just finished spending a long time in a wheelchair and am getting back into the water.
Me:Were you in an accident?
Her: No, I have health issues.
me: Oh, do you have MS?
Her: Yes.

Who is sending me all these MS people, for the love of Mike? So of course I told her to get on my board and we could pull her around in the water. She said she was scared of the fish. To which we said, "There are no fish out today. You want to be scared of the wave, not the fish".

She got on the board, but started to have some type of trouble and had enough of it. ...I will kill one of these MS people yet.... :). She is awfully brave to drive around alone, and then go onto the beach and Into the water! Def badge of courage.

I bet we will see her again.

I think she was worried about sharks perhaps. She moved down from the Midwest, maybe was worried about the exotic creatures in Florida ocean? I dunno. I refrained from telling her I have only been bitten by a shark once in 5 years.

I have not seen her back...yet. She probably is terrified that I will talk her into getting back on the board :) of course it's been unseasonably warm the past few weeks. More like August. So we may see her yet...
