I had Dish, and they showed it on one of their "free premium channel" weekends. I'm not sure how they did many scenes, but now days, they can do anything on film.

Remember....Timex, takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. I'm not talking about watches, I'm talking about old TV commercials!

That's the type of watch I've been talking about. I've been buying and using Timex watches for many years. They're really good watches (except for the battery issue but that can't be solved--a watch needs a tight-fitting case) and last a long time.

If what you have is Timex, and you are happy with it, then go for the new batteries. I hope they aren't too much. I have 2 new watch batteries, and I can't remember what I got them for. And now thinking about it, they're a 3 pack, and I didn't pay much for them. Now if the jeweler isn't expensive, you're set!

In the future I'll try harder to get myself to a jeweler to have a battery installed, as I used to do. With summer coming on I was resisting the idea of going anywhere and didn't want to wait until fall for a working watch.

So getting the new Timex just now was something I wouldn't ordinarily have done. Summer weather is daunting.

I don't see how this could be the wrong thread. It's been about an MS anniversary, then on to shopping problems, watches, a movie, somebody's cats. This seems to be the anything thread.

I'm guilty. I took part in the hijacking of this thread.

You and I have had a similar course--tried the same two drugs but I tried them in the 2000s. I didn't have HV viruses as far as I know. You must have been diagnosed 4 years before I was. And if my neuro was right, the onset for me was 55 years ago.
