Somebody needs to say something. I don't think anyone here is guilty of talking too much. This is a forum, after all. If nobody said anything, it just wouldn't be a forum any more.
I'm in danger of posting something boring and probably pointless about iGive, the way people can contribute by donating to BrainTalk.
It's probably pointless because I seem to recall Mike Weins saying that for some reason that source of funds wasn't being used.
I try to make people not think too much about MS. It sucks is about all that needs to be said. But we are a support group, and I think we do very well at that. When someone is having a tough time, support is all we can offer, but support works magic for those that need it.
But day to day is what I'm best at. I try to make folks laugh. Laughter is the best medicine as they say. And I do my best to be silly, and get others to be silly too, and before long, we forget about feeling bad, and join in.
And Ann, I'm not picking on you, and I may have totally taken it the wrong way, but I suddenly felt like my silliness was not wanted. I'm so sorry if I took it wrong. I don't want to drive anyone away, but get everyone to join in.
And yes, it may be that I'm just too sensitive. Being alone with two cats will do that to you. This forum is my only human contact, and I very much need that, need all of you.
And on that note, where is Renee and Vicky? Renee I keep telling myself she is traveling. But it's been a long time now.
And Vicky has stopped posting since the election. If you were offended by myself, or anyone else, I'm very sorry. Politics is a constant stream of BS. Not something to turn your back on people that care for YOU, not your political affiliation.
So to everyone, I'm sorry for anything I've done, and if something I've done bothers you, PM me, and I will stop. Deal?

Vicky was posting on 11/13. You're talking about Frog42, right?
This board has changed over the years from a place where swarms of people came along with questions about MS, and the people here did what they could to answer them. There were members who said they came here only to get information back then.
Since all of us who are here regularly probably know more than we wanted to know about MS by now, we're a group of people who find some help in having friends here who help us through our days, which can be filled with problems just on account of what MS is doing to us.
The chances are that we have much less contact with other people now that MS has come along, and that's where this board comes in.
What we're doing here seems to be talking about how we spend our time, how we solve our everyday problems, some of our gripes, our pets, what we're eating and how we're fixing it, how we get the things we need, how we get from one place to another. For some of us just getting across the room is a major project sometimes. This is one place where people will understand how big a project that can be.
I think it's good that we have distractions from MS here. Lately politics has been added into the mix but for newcomers here or for those who just happen by now and then, we're not usually dwelling on politics here at all.
I just caught a bit of the BBC news on TV where I heard about how "there's just been a seismic shift in Washington," and elsewhere I've noticed that this election has created a crisis situation here in the US and has shaken up other countries as well.
Given that this is a very extraordinary time, I'm glad we have an opportunity to vent our opinions even at the risk of alienating some people. Nobody has to agree with anyone here on politics. I've never known this board to be repressive in that way.
I hope we can keep laughing here at least some of the time. MS can be pretty grim, and the world situation can be pretty grim, but even so we can laugh sometimes. I hope.
Well, I just finished my SECOND mug of coffee, and I'm so jittery, I can rub the cats just by putting my shaking hand on their backs.
Sunny, but a little chilly, then it warms up just about the time the sun sets! I want to drive Pinky, but can't get motivated enough to do it. It's so dirty, it needs to be washed so I can see out of the windows.
But what sounds like a good movie is coming on in about 1 minute. Later Gators!
It's a UFO, but just an artist's rendition. I love reading about UFO sightings. Any theories out there about what they are about?
I don't have any theories other than that some UFO sightings--maybe even all of them--might be some people's overactive imaginations.
I have my doubts about whether there is life out there trying to communicate with us but then skeptics have been proved to be wrong time and time again.
I am also in agreement with that. Now Howie can refute us if he wishes. He is use to being outnumbered by women. He lives with two. His have fur coats.
