    OT October Chit Chat

Howdy,, hows the world treating you? Going good here,,no big complaints, we have been doing fall clean up,,the garden is stripped and all we have are a few tomatoes and peppers,, oh yes butternut squash,, we ended up with over 75 of them , trying to figure out what to do with all of them !

Grandkids are here, riding horses, and doing the youth deer hunting with grandpa,,so far the deer is winning,,

Weather is finally cooling down ,, oh on a cuteness note,, I tried to get a picture of our Springer Sam ,laying in a chair with our 2 kittens {Josey and Wildcat} on the deck,, but they always leave,, dang it,, I have to be more sneaky,,lol

    later then

Good to have news of you!

I hope you'll let people know if you're feeling different in any way since you got the Ocrevus infusions.

Perking along here, and glad that the cooler weather is here.

Cold start in Boston. We needed the first blanket last night. Our geraniums are the only thing still blooming.
      The crisp days are here.

:) I had also posted on Facebook about wanting an electric wheelchair for my friend in the nursing home. Gary who used to post here sent me the local Craigslist and I found a Hoveround for $200.00 and it is only about 20 miles away. I will go for it tomorrow.

The lady was very nice and will help me get it in my van. I just hope it and my scooter will fit.

I am having a lazy day and just resting. Jeanie :)

Hi all! Hi Peg, tell Sam that Sam says hello!

I'm just getting up, and having coffee. But I think I could just as easily gone back to sleep. It's getting cooler, and I don't have to run that noisy AC at night.

            Everyone have a great day!

A month of being sick is definitely not something to want to let yourself in for. Congratulations on putting up with those side effects and still soldiering on!

Peg, glad you feeling better. Butternut squash pie? Butternut squash bread? Lasanga, soup, pizza, even dip! Lots of recipes on the internet. I suppose you could can the pie filling and/or soup too. The work never ends!
We're supplying friends, neighbors, and the food bank with zucchini, still, from just 3 plants. Thought they were done, but they suddenly got a second wind. Mushroom mulch in the garden this year . . . wow! Just out of curiosity, how many butternut plants do you plant?

Jeanie, I just want to say, everyone should be a friend and have a friend like you. The world would be a better place. Bless your heart for all you do for others.

That's my favorite...butternut squash soup. Gonna make some this week. TC's heading out of town for the last camping trip of the season, I'm "home alone" (me, my cats, an aide coming in 2/day to get me in/out of bed, another friend coming by with the mail and to take out the used kitty litter) so Im making curried squash soup. Yummmm....

Nuthatch, my mom's neighbor has had the same vegetable explosion using mushroom manure.

Mom got loads of tomatoes from him.

Peg, glad you are feeling better. I didn't know the infusion made you sick. Maybe that will go away the next time. Just hope the energy keeps up. I think with all you do you need it.

As everyone seems to be talking about cooler weather here also. I like it. Just glad to see it. I am sure we will still have some warm days, but not like July, August and September.

My brother and his wife came by after we had dinner tonight to see my living room. He also hooked up an antenna in my bedroom so I could have a little TV in there if I am sick. Right now my only cable TV is in the living room. He is kind of upset with me because I haven't called the cable people and had them put cable in my bedroom. He says I should not be so stingy with myself. I will call and find out how much it will be.

Nuthatch, wish I had a few of those zucchini. There is a dish I was thinking of making and I need some.

Jeanie, you are such a wonderful friend. I hope everything will work out really well for the lady you are getting the power chair for.

:) Peg I am glad you are feeling better. Y'all all seem to get a lot done. I struggle to accomplish anything.

Andy is going to meet me at the lady's house to help me get the wheelchair in my van and then will follow me to the nursing home to get it to Peggy.

I talked to Peggy and she said I need to get it okayed by the nursing home. I will call them in the morning and see how to do that, bit I am gonna insist they let her have it. Say a prayer that it all works out good. Thanks, Jeanie :)

Don't forget to get the battery charger that goes with it.
