BluntCat is still around and lurks here from time to time. Nothing much to report on from my end, and my life isn't interesting enough to comment on, so I just lurk. And since --way in the past -- a moderator "moderated" me, I don't bother to try to answer questions anymore. Maybe I should change my screenname to blunt cat. Then at least people would know what they're getting in to if they ask a question..

Hi cat glad to see you are still about. I got moderated and slapped by a certain other board for answering someones question on getting BT address. I received the nastiest letter. So I never post over there and moderate what ever I post I dont mind answering a PM but I try to keep my public opinions quiet. Most of the time anyway.Comment

I attended one of the Leafwatcher's get together. I think it was the last one. At least I have not heard of another one, but I am not in touch with anyone other than the people on this board, so if it is not posted here I generally do not know about it. I did enjoy it a lot. Laurel use to kind of get things going, but I haven't seen or heard anything from her in a very long time.VirginiaComment

I attended two Leafwatchers (Boston and Orlando).
It's gloriously cool today (50s) but after doing my exercise after breakfast, I feel like I need to go back to bed. Totally wiped and sleepy even tho' it is sunny and cool and lovely outside. Can't seem to get warm.Comment

Always wanted to attend leaf watchers.............
Went to the Dr today as I have been having leg trouble which I have been blaming on MS. You guessed it is spinal stenosis imaging that the Dr was right and Gary (as usual) was wrong. He bugged me about getting a MRI and I finally did as I have poor mobility and I was was loosing what I did have. So I need to see a another specialist sigh.
Cool here and rainy we had a down pour today nearly 4 one hundreds of an inch just today alone. And I hear Cherie saying "Gary keep quiet you have no idea what rain is!" Fall is here I saw the first load of sugar beets heading to the sugar plant. If you have never smelled the process of extracting the sugar well lets say that you have to wonder how something so sweet could come from something that smells that bad. But when low moisture corn and sugar beets are coming off winter cannot be far behind!

Sorry, it's been a few days for my reply as I forgot where I left the information. This is why I should make a separate post and not post on Chit Chat because then I have to search for the stuff I forgot!
I will reply to your concerns on a different thread about the solumedrol and the thyroid issues as I have to be in bed in a few minutes. I'm going for the last day of IVIG tomorrow.

I see chit chat thread is sliding down so I better say something.
My wife is spending a few days at her moms and with no one to yell at me I way over did mostly due to the first day in a long time I felt good. To the point that I spent yesterday watching TV and nothing else. Yeah I know better. Feeling really pretty good today and my son is going to be here for a couple of days. So I think I will behave.
Yesterday the temp was about 67 and this morning it was 34. I think the leaves should start turning and raining down. I am glad for the cooler weather an so is my air conditioner. I didn't turn on the heater as I have not vacuumed the dust out yet but I sure gave it some thought. I woke up with the cats and dogs smashed against me . They know the warmest spot in the house is.

Spent the last two days in a "Wealth Management Seminar" and I am no longer afraid of the stock market! I now know when to hold and when to fold and many different steps inbetween. Tomorrow (or Tuesday) when the office opens, we are calling our financial manager and liquidating all of our mutual funds and taking control of our IRA and SEP ourselves. I have a hefty homework assignment ahead of me the next few months managing those accounts so we can regain some of the 75% of lost income and I have learned what I need to do to accomplish that or at least move toward that.
Freezing 2 nights ago. 50s Thursday 60s Friday and in the 80s again today.
35 years ago this afternoon, I became a mother for the first time. I cannot believe that baby is 35 with children of her own. Happy birthday Heather!Comment

I'm here,, we are in a burn ban,, no rain,, hot and humid, and very windy
we did get our crops out ,, Friday night, the last of the corn, trouble with this,, is the field is next to our house, and it being dry, and windy, we have stalks that blew into our yard,, what a mess,:-(,, it will get back to normal temps the end of the week,,
closing on farmground November, house the end of this month,, sad. but life goes on,,
