ANN, good news that your weight is holding steady!

Hope you at least like the Ensure and Orgain. They come in quite a variety of flavors, don't they?

It's also comforting that you already knew the gastroenterologist--and that she is nice. I'm starting to cheer up and hope that they'll find out what's wrong--and fix it.

Besides the vanilla organic vegan shake, I got protein bars. I really like the peanut butter one but not the chocolate chip cookie dough.

So glad that you like your GI. I had a strong feeling that she would schedule an endoscopy and gastric emptying study. We've been through all of that several times with Jon and Michael. Will she give you a sedative (my boys got a small dose of Versed) for the endoscopy?

I hope you like Orgain. More than calories, you need real nutrition. Ensure doesn't provide that, but Orgain does. Plus, we think Orgain tastes 100% better.

(Just read your post ... I'm surprised you didn't get the chocolate shake! We've never had the protein bars. I love peanut butter! )

That's great that your weight is holding. May it continue to be so.

        Love & Light,

        Rose

Yes, patients have “conscious sedation” for endoscopes. This group uses Versed and Fentynl.

Ann, glad that your Doctor seems to be on the ball and heading in the direction of getting a diagnoses. Also, glad you've got something with both calories and nutrients to help you get by in the meantime.

Howie, that's not fair. Anne should not have won. I knew the answer, but I had gone out and just got on the computer. I would have won if I had been here. She probably just takes her computer with her.

Hi Suze-Q did the goblins bring you out? Good to see you.

While I was out today I stopped by Chick-Fil-A and went through the drive thru to get a side salad to go with a sandwich I am going to have tonight. I waited in line for 25 minutes and this was from 3:35 to 4:00P.M. It reminded me that people on here were recently talking about the lines at Chick-Fil-A. There were also lots of people inside.

Edited to add: Thanks Ann! I think that is only appropriate since I do not have either a laptop or a tablet that I can take with me when I venture out. It also kind of lets Howie off the hook.

Yes, let's let Howie off the hook! (What hook is he on? Did Sam put up a hook as a Halloween stunt and put him on it?)

Another way might be to declare everyone winners and issue treats to all, as in:

                  ... (etc.)

Sorry I don't know if those are chocolate flavored.

Now that you're off the hook, you can join the crowd who are planning to haunt this house:

Maybe all of us could go? Don't people with MS often say we feel like zombies?

We wouldn't want to try to haunt one of Catdancer's doll houses. They don't look hauntable but this old rickety shambles might be just the thing. After we get through haunting it, maybe Cherie could get to work putting it on the market.

First one to go in this house needs to be that witch that is flying around on a broom. She has to be pretty brave to fly through the air on a broom.

I bought candy, have had my porch light on all night and no trick or treaters. I think it is about time for it to be over. I might just go wash my face and get ready to relax awhile before bed. I was looking forward to having a few trick or treaters tonight, but now I have a bag of candy to get rid of. Next year I just might not buy them any candy.

:) I am with you Virginia. Last year we had about 40 kids. I bought tootsie pops and blow pops and filled a big bowl and put it out by the door with a note saying I could not come to the door but to take 2 or 3 pieces of candy. Also that I could see their costumes on my cameras.

I have had all the lights on and even a skeleton and a lighted pumpkin. I have not had ANY trick or treaters at all. Now I stuck with about 1000 pieces of candy. Next year I am not going to bother.

                              Happy Halloween everyone! Jeanie :)

Jeanie, that means you can have 3 pieces a day for a year, 4 on special days.
