I'm adept only at some things.

My iPad is still making weird noises at me even when I have it turned off. I've tried and tried to get rid of these notifications that someone wants a video chat. I don't want a video chat with anyone and certainly don't want to be pinged every time I get this request. Luckily it's only happened twice now but that is bad enough. I found out just now that there's no way to turn off that notification on a mobile device.

It doesn't just ping. It goes into another sound routine after pinging, sort of like a phone ringing.

I still have a lot to learn.

iPad is a different world. I have this laptop, and a cell phone that sits on the nightstand beside me, and I never carry it anywhere. I'm not with the latest gizmo crowd, and somehow get along just fine.

Yes, the world did get along fairly well for quite a while before all of this new stuff came along, didn't it?

That's a ladder for every possible purpose! It looks as if the rungs are narrow and not flat?

I used my fancy ladder to paint all the ceilings, but after that was done, it's been sitting in the junk room, leaning against a wall. Money well spent, eh?

If you're ever short on cash, you could probably sell it for a pretty good price on Craigslist. Now that the ceiling is painted, it might not need painting again for about 10 years. You could get a less expensive stepladder for general use. Or hire someone when a ladder is needed.

Those rungs that aren't flat would drive me wild. A couple of times I've been on ladders with round rungs and nearly broke my neck.

There, Howie. I've solved your money problems and your decorating problems all at once.

You didn't say you had any money problems or decorating problems?

Oh. Sorry. Someone should sweep the hens in this barnyard back into their cubbyholes.

Oh Sam, I have a job for you!

PS, The rungs on my ladder are flat, or I wouldn't have bought it. Round rungs hurt!

TOday I swam 746 or something like that yards in 22 minutes. Most of my time now is in the wheelchair. Short excursions in the rollator...seeing neuro in 12 days for quarterly.

He is trying to line up IVIG.

I hope he is able to get the IVIg for you Sunshine. You need it and I am sure your Nuro knows this.

I will not be buying one of those fancy ladders since it does not have flat steps. I thought Howie had found a ladder that would allow me to paint my whole upstairs. Just kidding, if I could paint one half of it on ANY ladder I would be telling everyone I was cured or in strong remission.

Virginia, it does have flat rungs, but in the picture of it, they don't show them.
Maybe they changed them, but I hope not.

This may be a slightly different model they're selling now, or maybe the photo isn't accurate. Anyway, that looks like one very serious ladder.

I walked to the corner and took the bus up to the center of town. I went to two shops and the hardware and drug store. Then I walked home.

Great ANN, when you say the center of town are you referring to Boston? No matter where it is impressive.
