Yes, today's experience was nobody's fault but mine. I don't know how I was stupid enough to forget to make the call I should have made. I schedule rides 2 months in advance when possible and try to keep careful track of them but I really goofed this time.SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.

It was 92 when I left Milwaukee at 10 this morning and 94 in Philadelphia this afternoon and 88 in Rhode Island when I got home. So there you have it....it's hot in everyplace I have been today.
Good (but small) program in Milwaukee last night. 28 people and 8 of them were from the Nursing School with an instructor. I stayed after with just them for about 20 minutes of Q&A. They are currently doing a module on Neurology and Mental Health.

:) Speaking of kittens, Andy had to put one of his feral cats down yesterday. His tongue swelled up and he had shots, etc. but it only went down some and the cancer became visible. He was 15 years old and all three let Andy hold them. They run when anyone else is around.
Jim had the job interview to take over another surveying company since the owner wants to retire. They met his salary request and perks and he starts Monday. They have 30 employees but Jim says they are sort of behind the times.
I had a MS day. With PT I was barely able to do the easier exercises and not without resting several times. Jim sent me a PDF of my x-ray but I do not know how to do anything with it. Goodnight all. Jeanie :)

Jeanie, I am hoping for a better day for you tomorrow.
So glad Jim got the job at the salary he wanted. I know that made him feel good.
Sorry about Andy's cat. You have talked about how he loves those cats and I hate to see anything happen to one of them, but sounds like the cat would have suffered had he lived. Sometime it is just unavoidable it seems.
Cherie, glad the class went well. Sounds like it is a bit cooler in Rhode Island, but maybe it was the time of day you got there. Welcome Home.Virginia

Glad this day has come, for Sunshine.
Jeanie, slow and steady!
Virginia, I am eating some bread now. The issue was that it was taking up to much space. That’s resolved a lot.
My Tumbling Tom cherry tomatoes are producing and we are eating those but I’m waiting on the Cherokee Purples, Celebrities and Sungolds.
It was hot and stormy yesterday afternoon. It’s been lightly rainy this morning. And 65 degrees!
And the power went out just before I wanted to use the microwave. Oh, snap!

Howie, you were up later, but I wasn't sleeping much, so I think it evened out. I got to bed about 1:30, but then had some chills, since it could not be weather related I decided it was one of those times that I was having a shot reaction. You may not be a good cat Daddy after all, if you kept Sam up that late. I am sure it disturbs her.
Ann, glad you are eating at least some bread. Are any of those tomatoes you mentioned the kind you can slice? I can't imagine having a 65 degree day. Please send some of that South.
Sunshine, so glad you are getting IVIg today. Hope all goes well and that after that you can enjoy your Sister.
Have we heard from Suze-Q lately?Virginia

Just got a call from my Primary Care office. Can I come in to see the Nurse Practitioner today at 6? They want to discuss my thyroid and diabetic care and not wait till my next appointment in October and are concerned that it is taking me so long to bounce back from the diverticulitis. I was telling David last night that it feels like I have been "a little sick" for about three months and "a lot sick" for a couple of weeks and I am tired of it. I hope she has some suggestions I have not yet thought of.
