Jeanie, please call your doctors office and get a RX for Valtrex or the generic Valacyclovir phoned to your pharmacy. One of your sons can pick it up. I don’t know what herpeeze is, but you need prescription grade medicine for this. The sooner you get started on it the better. If you wait past a certain time it will not do you any good. You are a nurse, so I know you must know this.

I have not heard of Herpeeze, but my doctor Rx for Valtrex for shingles. I had it about 2 or 3 years ago and still have post-herpetic pain. It was a really horrible experience, very painful and terrible flu-like symptoms. I have read that you have to take the Valtrex right away.

I am a walking PSA for the new Shringrex vaccine. I never want to go through that experience again.

Herp-Eeze was new to me too. Its main ingredients seem to be L-Lysine and Prunella vulgaris (also known as self-heal). Its ingredients are listed on the Amazon ad for it. The reviews there are very mixed and some are probably not very reliable. But some people report that it helps with shingles.

Ouch! I live very isolated life on my farm and never get the flu shot or shingles shot. Until recently have not had a col d in 30 years. I wonder if my relative isolation keeps me safe.

:) I have found that if I take the Herpeeze as soon as any area starts to itch it will go away in a day or two. But I continue to take it for at least a week. I also use silver water. If it got worse I'd get the RX. Jeanie :)

It sure as has been quiet in here today, but I guess it always is on Sunday.

Tomorrow will be trash and store day. No bank because I still have plenty of cash in my billfold. But it is early in the month.

I finally cleaned off the last vehicle that was buried under a snowstorm a few days ago. I drove to the greenhouses and watered. Takes about an hour per greenhouse.

Then I made John beef stew which he said was great. I watched movie with Meryl Streep on my amazon prime.

So, all in all it was a pleasant day. The sun was out all day but it was -3° this morning. Tomorrow it will reach 50° and rain heavily. Big shifts from day to day.

I did a load of laundry today, then did a shopping list for the call that should come tomorrow, and tried to set up a couple of packages for carrier pickup through the post office's Click-n-Ship system. I've used it often over many years but today I was told that I couldn't print the labels. I'm still waiting to find out what is going on. I'm sure the post office is strained to the limit just now.

I went out to eat this evening with brother and his wife. Then I went to grocery store and shopped and shopped. I don't know why it took me so long because I had a list on my phone, but I kept skipping items on my list and would have to backtrack. Unlike me. I usually can pretty much get what I need and move on. I wish I had timed how long I was in there, but since the going back and forth was an unplanned thing I didn't think to look before I went in. I then had to make 3 trips in from the car and unload all the groceries and put them away. There was a light rain.

I have been trying to do more exercise the past couple of weeks and I didn't get any in, so I hope the walking in the store and into the restaurant kind of made up for not doing my exercises today. However, tomorrow I have hair appointment and need to do a couple of errands before I get to the hairdresser's so I know I will not get any exercises done tomorrow. Hate to skip two days in a row, but will do my best to get back on track Tuesday.
