We have CVS, but they are not real close to me. However, the main reason I didn't go there is because my insurance doesn't have them on their list. Pretty good reason wouldn't you say???

Howie, are you up for the night, I am on my way to bed. Goodnight!

Virginia, that is a nasty surprise. Is it the first time you filled those scripts this year? Otherwise, it doesn’t make sense.

I swam 1/2 mile this morning. Rested. Cooked a salad and finished up the dinner’s walnut encrusted flounder, which was tasty. Lied down and listened to a meditation that usually falls into a brief nap.

        Made DH’s lunch.

        Cleaned up the cooking.

Gathered the fixings for tomorrow’s stew that I have my eye on. Only a few pars will take a lot of time.

Still cannot read books, or listen to them very well.

Currently, Jim has 7 meds, and we use only one pharmacy. It is close to our house, less than 2 miles, and it has a drive thru. I'm always amazed at how little our co-pay is.

We used to use CVS for many years, and then it closed near us. Jim read in Consumer Reports that CVS is the most expensive pharmacy in the country. I don't know whether that is true still.

I hope that you can transfer all of your meds to one pharmacy, and it sounds like Costco has the best deal.

          Sunshine ~

          Sending you healing, positive energy.

Love and prayers to all ~

Virginia, I'm still up, but headed to bed after this last beer. I spend most of my day on YouTube. I'm into the paranormal shows mostly these days. I have an interesting theory about ghost sightings, and the paranormal, but will save that for another day.

            Good night all.

Had a wonderful weekend! Both kids brought the grandkids for a Valentine's weekend visit. Tula taught Everett and I how to play UNO. They also went to the beach early Sunday morning while Nana showered and got her act together, since I just can't be up and at it at 5 a.m. like they are. The goodbyes are hard and the house is sadly quiet now. I'm in recovery mode.

Hope everyone is doing okay. Special prayers for you, Sunshine & Laz.

A few pics from the weekend.

Cuties for sure! Both of them. I wouldn’t be any fun - I don’t even know what UNO is. Sure glad Nana knows how to play. Tula looks just like a little smart girl who would know everything.

Glad you had both of them for Valentines.

Great photos, nuthatch/Joan! Imagine being on a beach in mid-February making sand sculptures--those kids will remember this time for the rest of their lives.

Virginia, I don't know much about Uno either but some people in this building play it--I believe it involves dice?

Thank you for the delightful pictures, Nuthatch!

Virginia, UNO is a card game. You win when you have Uno (one) card left.

Oh, I do remember hearing people talking about Uno now that ya'll remind me what it is. I guess it is for all ages. I bet Tula and Everett had a good time playing with Nana.

I remember seeing it in stores, but never saw the contents, or know how it was played.

It's played with a special deck of cards. I don't know why I thought it was dice.

People here play games in the community room, right down the hall from me, and often I hear the dice rolling. There is some game they often play that is played with dice--I think it's bunco-- but I've heard Uno mentioned too. Mainly they play bingo.

Your grandchildren are pure sweetness and light. Such lovely photos. Thank you for sharing them with us. They lift my heart.

                                UNO ~

We first started playing UNO during grad school at parties. It's more fun with a group of players.

It's been so long since I've played any card game. I used to play Bridge and Gin Rummy. I can't remember the rules for any of them. Or for Monopoly or Chinese Checkers. Now we have on line games.

Ah ... the good ol' days ... when people physically gathered to play cards or a board game, looked at each other, talked to each other, laughed with each other, ate and drank together.

                                Sigh ...
