    Is everyone pleased with the way the new medical care that is coming is shaping up?

      Do you really believe this nonsense, Abby? If you actually do believe this.....explain how it is going to work?

      As far as my medical care, it is excellent. I am getting monthly infusions of IVIG which cost $13,000 an infusion and between my Medicare and my secondary all of it has been paid. I have had 12 infusions since June and will be getting another one on Friday.

            As a non performing slug who is utilizing a lot of medical services to treat all my ailments and inhaling a lot of air, I can breath a sigh of relief to know that the "death panel" is just one big whopper that the politicians like to pull out and parade around just to scare all the ignorant people into voting their way.

                    Sal, I was just making a general statement about anyone who believes in "death panels" and I did not address it specifically to Abby. In fact, I asked her to explain how a death panel is going to work. She answered me with a "nevermind". Don't try to stir up trouble when there is none to stir. BTW, My name is not Gabby.

                    These are just "scare tactics" and should not even be discussed on a board that is expressly for people with multiple sclerosis, a disease that affects the central nervous system. Are we going to have a repeat of what happened 4 years ago? It is a year until the election and if this nonsense is starting this early I hope the moderators will step in and stop this now.

                    After all this is a political post that shouldn't even be on a MS board to begin with. I hope the moderators will come and close it down before it gets any more replies! It is just going downhill from here. I'm certain this board will lose more members if this is allowed to continue.

                              I think it is important to know that not every one has your astounding combo of insurances. I have exactly what you have, I believe, or at least it works out the same (Fed BC/BS + Medicare A&B) but that was sheer luck- I wasn't intending on having to quit working.

                              Many people and in some areas most people are struggling to make things work w much less insurance coverage or none at all. Good to keep in mind who you are talking to. Changing medical teams doesn't help if you don't have a golden ticket.

                                The only insurance I have is medicare part B and nothning else.
