Well ya'll I am gonna be outta commission again today. It is going to be near 90 degrees today and this funky weather is just killing me. Almost 90 today and then we are supposed to dip back down to the 60s then 50s by the beginning of next week. Our normal average is 45 day, 23 night . I had to go out and move my seedlings out of the direct sun. Much too hot for them to be in the blaze. I do not want to have to run the air already so I closed in the cool evening air and am hoping that by the time the house gets really warm it will be cool enough to open them back up.

Everything is hurting, my trapezius is in such a state that when I tip my head back I am in serious pain. My hands even. My feet are so bad I can barely walk. Lots of serious crunching joints and for some reason my stomach feels like it has a stone in it. The spot where my gallbladder use to be is acting up. This is the second time my stomach has felt like this in a week's time. So I am staying in bed again today. I did manage to make a short trip to the library yesterday just before picking up shortcake. It's like 6 blocks from the school. Got a lot of brain books. Filling up on fun stuff.

Pati from what I just saw it looks like you may be getting some snow in your area. I'm sorry you are getting our weather.

Jeannie I wonder if you have looked at the zone map for planting lately. I just realized the other day that my zone has gone from what was a 5 to a 6. Now I think you were always a 6 or just on the edge but I have been looking at that zone map for years and they have changed mine. This happen to anyone else that they noticed? Now how can they say there is no global warming when even our planting guide has been changed to compensate for the weather changes.

Well I am gonna have to take something for pain and see what is on for movies, maybe a nap.

I hope everyone is feeling better now. I enjoyed watching my girls have a good time at the river. Daughter seems to have found a friend that is a good one and her daughter gets along with grand daughter so it was relaxing just watching them all play in the river. I watched the birds and picked up rocks, driftwood and shells. Doesn't take much to entertain me especially since we had sunshine. I left with stomach hurting and had that the whole trip. But hey it wold have hurt anywhere so at least I had company and a change of scenery.

My forysthia spell that right, LOL has not bloomed since hubby put a large wooden building next to it. I first thought lack of sunshine but no it gets plenty still. Huby said it must be because he had the water diverted to drain off right on plant. Whatever-- it has not bloomed in years so I am not happy about it. I love the bright yellow flowers and our is a big one very large. He promised to fertilize it but it will be to late for blooms this year. I hope to feel up to taking cuttings and makng a row on the shortest property line we have. I have seen this before and a long row of blooms are quite attractive thing to see. Now to us get the energy to do it.

Donna is not feeling up to coming down tonight. I sure wish she would feel better Redbud tree blossoms all around here and dogwoods sure are pretty. Two weeke before Donna has chemo again so hopefully next week she can come down.

I wore out my modem and expect to have another today. I haven't gotten to the end of the internet yet. I have a guest account on the hospital's internet so I was able to log on. My laptop is slower than an old, dying snail........!

I'm still sick with this bug. managed to soak up a couple hours sun yesterday & it sure felt good.

my head is splitting today so hope it means the bugs are leaving soon.

housemate has a bid for the roof over the patio so hopefully the job is actually going to happen. I'll believe it when I see it!

wish y'all could have seen the quail in the feeder. they were all lined up inside the feeder & just their heads bobbing up & down as they ate. it was funny!(feeder is a planter about 6'long sitting on the ground).

Went to the cabin today. The weather has been great so we thought we would go with no bugs. We seen four geese and a little white bird with them. It wasn't a baby one so don't know what it was.

Been so tired after the trip that I haven't been doing much. I do sleep a lot. Hubby is getting upset about all of the sleep that I have been getting. It takes a lot to go on vacation. I don't sleep like I do at home with all the running around that we do.

Yay for you Jan! Yes getting to the end of the internet is a major goal for me too. I could look and learn all day every day.

Dawn I am so glad you are getting to get out and see the world. You are doing amazingly well considering what you have been putting your body through. At least it is being agreeable. A nap here and there definitely can't hurt.

Pati I hope you are feeling better. We are now back into the 50s here. Gonna have a freeze here most likely in a couple of nights.

Joy so glad you got to get out to the river. My forsythia is at full bloom here. Bit soon for us so it obviously it is going to be gone sooner. Lots of other things coming up though .

Sher,after so many years some of us have our brains wired to recall what people are up to. and of course the cheat sheets work well.

I'm still feeling like crud but actually had a couple hours this morning when I felt great so caught up on laundry & dishes. my housemate does nada to help of course.

my son called yesterday,he also had this bug & said it's everywhere & lasts for 2 weeks! he called to tell me he got a dog. a border collie no less. an abused one at that.(got kicked in the head by a cow so was worthless as a herd dog).I told him to take the dog to a vet ASAP & make sure he's worth the money & he's OK. I'm NOT happy he got another dog but he's a grown man so nothing I can do.son is still in very hyper mode. it's been months now & beginning to wonder if he's gonna crash or ??

I have a door open even if it's not very warm. just getting fed up with winter weather!

Dawn,you need to sleep so just tell DH to go amuse himself & let you sleep in peace! I'm sure all the traveling has you worn out!

we had a little earthquake yesterday. I was sitting in my recliner & felt a tremor.then saw a mirror moving so knew I wasn't nuts. housemate thought I was of course. so today's newspaper confirmed it was a small earthquake not far from here.

Clouds,I'm much closer to Baker than you are! I still recall when St. Helen's blew & that was freaky cause I didn't even know that mountain existed.
