Btw, this program is how I do a lot of things. It will convert files, play music, will view almost any type of file you have even if that format hasn't been used in a long time. If you're even the least bit technically inclined this program is great. It's how I turned myself into Howie!
I'm sure I'm posting too much today but I wanted to share this song in case you haven't heard it. Richard Shindell doing Wisteria. It chokes me up every time I listen:
Peg,
So glad you are home and on the mend.
Gary,
sorry to hear you are struggling again, yet, still? And yes, we understand the farming mentality (meaning I understand).
Busy, Busy week and a half. I have spent easily 70 hours reviewing medical records, putting together plans of care, testifying in court on behalf of a death camp survivor to get the court to release her from a nursing home to home care. We won but the battle has been ongoing for 2 and a half years. Her legal team brought me in last Tuesday and by day before yesterday, after an hour and a half on the witness stand, we got a very favorable decision from the Judge that my plan of care was one of the most comprehensive and professional ones she had seen in her years on the bench and I would be retained by the Court to oversee and report on the plan of care. She is at her next door neighbor's home as her husband does not want the responsibility of her in the marital (of 66 years) home. Sweet and brilliant lady with some short term memory loss.
Dave and I are vacating to the Mountains for a few days then to my folks for a couple of days to check on them before resuming work a week from now. In fact, while I finish laundry, packing and shopping for the trip, he is in his kayak sitting in the water off the stage of the Newport Folk festival as he does every year at this time. Another couple of weeks and he'll be there for the Newport Jazz festival. We will probably leave here around 4 or 5 for the 4 hour drive up there. It'll be 7 hours to my parents from there (no direct route with all windy 2 lane roads across the mountains of NH, VT and NY. then another 7 hour drive back here early next Saturday morning for a 4 o'clock appointment that afternoon. I need rest and I am taking it.

You can pay if you find it useful but you don't have to. I think I paid about $10.
I had that on my Dell computer. I loved it!!
Can't get it on my Mac! I miss it!!
Thanks Sally. Irfan had this to say about using it on a Mac:
Q: Can I use IrfanView on Mac?
A: Yes, probably. There is no native-Mac version of IrfanView. However, you can use IrfanView in conjunction with Mac program like WineBottler/DARWINE. Take the ZIP version of IrfanView and unzip it or copy your existing Windows IrfanView folder to Mac. This is easier because the installer may need additional Windows DLLs to run.

LOL, thanks to all. I hid it deliberately but some had apparently stored the info elsewhere. I was feeling kinda sad at the time. The wishes are much appreciated, thanks!

A Summer Wind, A Cotton Dress is a great song to pine over
everything that got away. I heard him many times in the '90's
when I worked in a music club.
Nice guy, interesting performer, great songwriter.
Can make you laugh or cut your heart open with a phrase.
Somebody explained it better. Just in case....... On the MS forum page of BT, where you pick the thread you want to read, to the right of the column that lists the different threads you will see a smaller column that lists the reply and views and to the right of that it lists a name (the last person to post) directly beneath the persons name has the date it was posted TODAY.YESTERDAY or a date. To the immediate right of the date you will see a really small arrow inside a small box. Click on this arrow and you will go to the last post no matter how many posts there are in the thread.
:) Hi everyone. My phone went dead during the night Friday. I called and reported it and requested a quick fix since I am in a wheelchair and alone. The man from AT&T just left. He had to redo the wire from the pole to my house. I can't believe how upset I was to not be able to get online.
Happy Birthday Vicky! Peg try to be lazy. Cherie I hope you relax and unwind.
I have been reading my diary's from when I met David and about 5 years after. It gives me a whole new appreciation for all the trouble he went to to make me able to ride a motorcycle. The Harley tryke he built me was really wonderful and I got to be in the wind for a few years. When I got where I had to have a scooter when I got off the bike I quit riding. If I put my small scoter in the box on the back I could not see in the rear view mirrors and that felt dangerous so I quit riding.
I missed checking on all of you while the phone was off. Jeanie :)
Jeanie, I know what you mean. I lost my hard drive on this computer awhile back, and couldn't afford to fix it for weeks. My main contact with the outside world is the web. I was so happy when I got it back.
