Sally, I do not know when we are getting married. Trying for September. Found a great reception place. Have not found an available church nearby. We need them to be close as 2 invitees have adjusted able-ness, like us.:)

We may have to get married in the Boston Public Garden (by appointment- 15 minute slots).

Cat- you amaze me. It must be difficult to go through this but I am happy you are not in hospice.

Cherie and Gabriella - God be w you in these weeks. You both have so much to deal with.

DH2B got me an iPhone at Christmas and I have been using that for email much more than I should. Boards are just too difficult to manage on the phone. I do read, though. I'll make a point to participate more.

The public garden might be OK, or no? In bad weather maybe you could have a tent?

Or might there be a gazebo in the garden? It's been many years since I was there and I don't recall one.

No tent. Not even a folding chair. No rice, confetti or birdseed. Just the couple and up to 50 people standing at the corner or the park near Arlington and Beacon. I may ring up the Arlington Street Church- they are very accepting. Old, old church- may not be adapted for our guests needs.

Concord too far? I can PM you my daughter's contact info. She is Assistant Rector at Trinity Episcopal in Concord. She says they will marry people from without the church but do want to meet with them once or twice at least for pre-marital counseling or getting to know them. They are on the web. Her name is Rev. Becky Gettel. Right now she is on the way to Ohio to do funeral service for her husband's grandmother (96) who died Saturday. Tell her you are a friend of mine and I know she will make time for you.
Two days of heavy downpours and thunder, lightening and some hail. In 40 years, I have never seen the rivers so swollen and fast. Vacation is cut by at least a day as David has set appointments for Saturday and we were not supposed to be back till Saturday night.

This thread dies tomorrow. It is the beginning of a new month. Mowing grass today, I realized my MS anniversary must be soon. Well I missed it by a few days which is good.

I was diagnosed July 10, 1998 by Dr. Gail Ganzer after an exam and an MRI.

I feel for those that go through such a long process to finally get DXed. I would not do well not knowing, and waiting. So.....party on Wayne...party on Garth.

I am unlikely to forget the day on which I was DXed. It was the day my grandmother turned 100. Nov. 16, 2001.

I almost wish it had taken longer. In a week I went from thinking I needed new glasses to finding out I had an incurable disease. Sigh.

The same thing here. I had gotten some car parts sandblasted, and had rubbed my hand over them. Next day, I felt like I had a grain of sand in my eye.

Went to an optho to get the "sand" out of my eye, who just happened to be a neuro-optho, and in a few days, I went from healthy, to someone with MS having O.N.
