It's around freezing here right now (at 4:00) but sunny. At least it's not snowing. I feel sorry for the people in Buffalo.

I know you'll steer that couple in the right direction, Cherie. I remember how scared I was and didn't know a soul to offer encouragement.

I am glad that you are there for them, Cheri. When I was Dx the only support group I had was.......Brain Talk! I cant imagine what I would have done without this board.

And year4s ago when our son was Dx with type 1 diabetes there was no one and nothing to ask even the simplest questions. By the time our daughter was Dx we had a better handle on things. Someone that understands how scary it is when your body starts to fall apart is really important...

Oh I guess I am preaching to the choir aren't I?

We had a heat flash today it got up to 15 degrees! More snow coming tonight and a possibility of several more inches on Saturday morning. We will be in the motorhome down in Boise. Yikes back to living in the motorhome in the snow. Going down to clean my MIL's house is got to be one of the hardest things I have ever done. And, of course its harder on my wife.

Sorry to hear of all the cold temps and snow everyone seems to be getting. Wondering how Renee is doing and if she is near hard hit Buffalo.
Gary, I can't even imagine living in a motorhome in the snow. It must be darn cold!
We're still hoping for some rain. It keeps clouding up, but nothing comes of it. Maybe tonight.
Here is a pic of my daughters sweet pooch, Dahlia. She is a Newfoundland and loves snow and water. She's hard to keep out of the water and loves to romp in the snow.

This afternoon, I have a doctor's appointment about a possible fracture in my arm. It's been this way a few days.

I have no memory of what happened, but I can't blame it on MS. It may have been something even stranger. Sleepwalking.
My mom was a sleepwalker, and I'm afraid I may have inherited this wonderful trait from her. The doctor will x-ray it, and we'll go from there.

It's on the arm MS has made mostly numb, so see, MS CAN come in handy sometimes.

I'll let you know what they find. At least my typing hand still works!

Howie, is there some way you could fasten something to your wrist to tell you when you're trying to get out of bed or is that not possible?

I could wear my shoes to bed, and tie the shoelaces together.

Joan, Love that little BIG doggie's devilishly cute face. Looks like a handful.

Howie, Can't walk when I'm awake. I wonder how a sleepwalker would handle that..LOL!

:) Gary sorting and cleaning my Mother's apartment was very difficult, but a lot of relief when it was all done. Also giving family members items meaningful to them helped. Still we took several car loads to Goodwill. I hope y'all can keep warm in the RV. Travel safe too. Jeanie :)

"Possible hairline fracture, sending films to radiology". I have a THICK ace bandage around my wrist and forearm. It feels better keeping it immobile. No added meds. I already take a pain med for my dislocated shoulder. And it's all on the same arm!

And since the doctors office is near the vodka store, I dropped in.............for the pain!

Vodka, pain meds, injury with no memory of it . . . not surprising, they all kinda go together. Don't make matters worse!

Nuthatch, I'm sorry if I seemed to snap at you. I take the pain med at half the prescribed dose because I hate meds. As for vodka, I only bought some because it was a TRYING visit, and the store is right there. It's the first I've bought in months.
It will last me for quite awhile. Have a great evening, and cheers!

                            Howie,
I hope you don't think I am judging you, that was not my intent at all. Having lost 3 good friends over the years, who made the mistake of mixing alcohol and drugs, I cringe whenever I hear . . .
Take care of yourself Howie, I care.

Thank you for caring. Jimi Hendrix was a hero of mine, but I don't care to die the way he did, what a waste. And I forgot to say, once I decided to drink, I stopped the due dose of pain medication.
