Mom or dad sits on it just as soon as it peeks out.

Can see babies grey fur squiggling about beneath mom or dad. But, what's that red in the nest close to mom/pop?

Hoping it's just old food one of them brought.

Harriet or dad has moved over so we can see the babies.

Looks like partial fish in nest that parent is now feeding to babies.

            Cute!

I can't resist posting this even though it's not part of the bird scenes being watched here. A former neighbor of mine in Tacoma (WA) is still in touch, and just sent me a photo of an eagle she spotted from her apartment window there. The apartment building is right across from a wonderful little park that has many trees in it, and there are birds but I've never seen an eagle there.

                              Thx, Agate.

Don't forget, you can also click on a pic to enlarge it. Those Fl eaglets (sp?) are growing up fast!

We used to hatch our own chickens. It was just amazing when I watched my first chicken peck through the shell and hatch.
We raised many different chickens....wonderful variety of sizes and feathers!
Once we got going we raised Chinese Golden pheasants, Peacocks, wild turkeys and I remember many varieties of ducks. Many years ago now but this thread made me remember.
