    OT - Pets

Pets enrich our lives, even more so when we find our lives limited by this nasty disease.
I thought it would be fun to have a thread where we could share photos or stories about the animals that touch or have touched our lives.
Here's pics of my two cats, Cooper and Sparky. They have such different personalities.
And another pic that my daughter sent yesterday, of her dog, Dahlia with my little grandaughter, Tula.
Before I had a REAL grandchild, I used to call Dahlia my grandaughter!A GIRL AND HER DOG.jpgcooper.jpgSparky.jpg

Joan - I have already gushed at other times about the baby and Dalhia. This time Sparky caught my eye! What a beautiful portrait and Sparky is cooperating.

    Thank you,
    ANN

You can tell to look at those cats that they have very different personalities. Very handsome cats but I'm partial to gray cats.

Sam is black and white. Mix those together, and you get gray. Does that count?

Your Sam is in a class by herself.

I wish I could have a cat but I'm too clumsy and would probably trip over it. I SO miss having a kitty.

Vicky, you could get a toy cat. The real ones sleep most of the time anyway.

My dad gave my mom one that looked so real, and was a perfect match of a cat they had owned called Rusty. But it was so lifelike, it bothered her, and she gave it to me.

I came home from work, and my big male had attacked it and torn it to shreds. Guess it was a little TOO lifelike!

His name was Adolf. My female cat at the time was Eva. Yes, they were named after that infamous couple.

Adolf was very.....energetic. He would attack your hand when you tried to rub him. So I put on leather gloves, and would attack him. After a while, he would tire out, and stop. I did this daily after work, and after a while, he turned into a sweet gentle cat that loved to be rubbed. He just had to be shown, I was the dominant cat in the house. Meow!!!

My little guy who died before Christmas was a small short haired black cat.

I'd be happy with another black cat because they are not highly desirable for adoption
but any small beta personality kitty on death row will be my next kitty.

Adolf and Eva- very funny and you are a bit of my kind of sicko, Howie.
