I just got a nice bed bath. I smell so good. Think I'll take a nap!

I woke up later than usual but the flu shot often wallops me for a while. I'm still achy and feeling rocky but Tylenol does help. And it's far better than having the flu.

I have several calls to make today. With luck I'll feel up to making them before too long.

I'm so glad I was able to get online on the first try this morning. I wasn't looking forward to tinkering with cords so early in the day.

Groceries are here, winter clothes are all washed and put away, and now all I need to do is let time pass so the flu shot effects will calm down.

Hope everyone will have a good day--maybe one of those crisp fall days when it's not hot and not cold, with the sun shining.

:) Andy is here mowing the yard and picking mangoes. He will put some in freezer bags. Then we are going to the battery place and get batteries for both of my scooters. Later I will take Lacy to the groomers again to get her nails done.

All these extra things go on my Visa. I usually can pay it off monthly but not always. Peg will start a new chit chat tonight. Hi Peg, I am praying for your sister. Jeanie :)

Jeanie, your life is so well organized. We each run our own show as best we can, don't we? Keeping ourselves fed and our health tolerable and a nonleaky roof over our heads and being able to get to places when needed--that's a big job. I admire the way you cope with your own ramp and all of the apparatus involved in transportation.

Howie, your post made me laugh so hard that some of the flu shot malaise just went away--better than the Tylenol I haven't taken yet:

That's so big-hearted. The Sacagawea dollar I finally dug up turns out to be one of the ordinary ones. Though it might have been one of the "Cheerios" coins, it isn't one of the rare ones.

The rare ones supposedly bring $750 to many thousands of dollars. I don't know much about coins but mine doesn't have the right features.

It seems that a bunch of these coins were distributed in boxes of Cheerios as a promotional gimmick, and some of those have an unusual feature--the tail feathers on the eagle have tiny lines on them.

So if anyone has any Sacagawea coins from about 1999-2000 lying around, you might want to check them on the Internet.

I should look for those. These days, I end up with a billfold full of ones, then reach in my pockets, and here's more of them. Dollar bills have become the new penny!

For some reason, the last 3 days have seemed like Friday. Of course, today really is.......isn't it? It's being broke for so long, but Monday, I get paid, AND I get my statement for the Month, and see what's going on.

I just ate, and usually I go to szzzzz zzzzzz zzzzzz.......

They're not real gold, but just gold-colored. Still, I suspect Lewis and Clark's expedition would have been a big bust if it hadn't been for Sacagawea translating, and so I'm hanging onto my dollar coin with her picture on it.

Some people with those coins with fancier eagle tail feathers will be able to sell them for a tidy sum. I'm glad mine isn't one of them because then I'd be tempted to sell it.

I'll trade you a Lewis and Clark dime for it. It has a small tomahawk mark on the side of it. That just adds value to it.

All this talk made me look around in my safe. I have my birth certificate, and the little wrist ID they put on you when you're born so they can tell all the screaming little newborns apart. I was the baby wearing the thong and not a diaper.

Remember Space Dust? The candy they removed from the market because it caused kids to choke. I have 2 packs, 1 unopened, the other a small corner torn off so I could try it. I chocked.

I'd forgotten Space Dust or maybe I missed it completely. Not sure why you were sampling it but maybe it was the name that attracted you, heh heh.

No deal on the offer though. Sorry! A Lewis and Clark dime can't really match a whole dollar with Sacagawea on it. Meriwether Lewis was drunk quite often during that famous trek. Sacagawea was holding things together by translating if I have the story right.

All this talk about gold dust is making me think of all the old gold chains I have gathering dust in
my old jewelry box! My DD n grands got most of them. Most of them were those skinny flat
chains that got all bent out of shape. Not worth much now.
