That sounds pretty ominous, Vicky. I'd double lock all my doors, batten down the hatches and just lie low.
Bad stuff happens when the doors are locked too. I had some gourmet coffee delivered the other morning. I planned to bring it in at lunch but someone stole it. They probably saw the FedEx truck and were hoping it was something valuable. I hope they choke on it.

Sounds as if FedEx delivered it to the outside of your door, right where everyone passing by would have seen it sitting there?
This happens here too. The delivery people come and don't want to leave a notice of attempted delivery (I guess that's what's happening) and are apparently allowed to just drop the package by the door. Sometimes they leave the package outside the apartment door, sometimes out in the hall where the mail is delivered, and sometimes outside the building, out in the open where everyone parking in the parking lot would see it.
When drones start delivering packages, we'll be in big trouble because those packages might not even be left outside the door. They might be somewhere in the general vicinity as I understand it.
And drones are getting all too common. Did anyone see the TV news segment about eagles in Holland that are being trained to catch drones? I really enjoyed watching the eagles soar down and seize the drones:

I have everything delivered to the back door so they would have had to see them take it there. Someone must have been watching at just the wrong moment or they wouldn't have had a clue it was there. It wasn't visible from the road. They had to have seen the delivery truck.

I continued having computer problems this morning. It seems to be working okay now. I reloaded it back to a month ago. But it I vanish, don't expect me back too soon. I haven't finished paying my sister back for THIS computer.

Vicky, will the company send a replacement since you never got the package? I hope so.
The couple of times I've had packages stolen like that, the company sending the package was very good about sending a replacement, and they did it promptly. This was a few years ago and companies may not be so nice any more.

I doubt it. It was just coffee and I did see it on my back deck. Maybe if I'd gotten a lot more I would but it wouldn't be worth it and I have no proof I'm not just being greedy.
Let's see....... DD is still doing well on that med she's on, what's it's name? She is waiting to hear
about a new job at an old employer that is better than her present job. Keeping toes crossed,
as she won't have to drive to Cinci everyday. Grandkids are doing their thing. Yippee skippy.!
i'm fine as I can be. Sometimes feel like I'm on theWTD list, but holding my own. Always
Happy to be here with you,! Hugggggggggs
Sally, I hope your DD will get the job. A job that is closer to home is a job worth having.
As for being on the WTD list, every time I think about being on that list I keep in mind that everyone without exception is on that list.
I'm moving forward with getting winter clothes ready for wear now that it's getting colder. It's an easier job than it used to be because I got rid of some of them. I no longer use dry cleaners for anything. Gave them up years ago. They were using questionable chemicals anyway.
They were costly, and taking the clothes to the cleaner's and picking them up was a chore. So now I just don't buy anything that says "Dry Clean Only" on the label. Older clothes I still have that have that label get washed carefully, and they're perfectly fine.
Last night I made considerable progress on another crocheted hat because I watched the entire debate and it went on for an hour and a half.
I just heard from Virginia! She has had some new symptoms and hasn't felt well. She added:
"Please tell everyone that I WILL BE BACK! This has nothing at all to do with the forum. I still love all of you and hopefully will be able to come back home soon."
