I accidentally let my dog out today. I had cleaned the dog poop off my patio today, took the bag of trash out to the dumpster, and went back into my apartment through the front door and forgot that the patio gate was open. *mom2
Taelor took advantage of my mistake and ran off down the road. I called the police department to let them know that he had gotten out. My neighbor found him and opened the car door, thinking he'd go back to my patio. Oh no, he loved the freedom and sprinted west up towards the Middle School, 2.5 blocks away and across the street from the police station. Luckily, the middle school had just recently let out for the day and one of the kids captured my dog and walked him back to me.
The sooner I hear back about getting a power scooter, the better. I can use it to take my dog out for walks.

What breed is known for being a cat eater? Just kidding. I've thought about getting a dog, but I'm too old and would hate my dog being passed on when I pass on before the dog passes on.
I think this med is making me think funny!
"Given the millions of billions of Earth-like planets, life elsewhere in the Universe without a doubt, does exist."
Sounds as if this was a great day for your dog, Jendie! An adventurous outing and the human being all worried about his disappearance--you can't beat that for excitement!
I used to be in the same situation as for my dog suffered from IBS 2 years ago so I can somehow understand it. Life is hard and I had too fight a lot..
And when it brings too many stress. It was too painful that I had to go to the doctor and then I found he got IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). I spent 1 year to treat them (both the IBS and my attitude about life).
So I'm afraid he could get IBS as well ( I hope it's not).. Well you'd better go to check, otherwise you'd waste more time like I did to get back the balance in your life.

Nice to see you back, michelleb! I'm sorry about your dog. Dealing with a chronically ill pet is difficult.
I tried to visit the link you posted but found a "404 page not found" error message. The page may have been removed temporarily or permanently.
Agate, I tried to send you a PM. Take a look, it may be full.
Thanks for the alert, Howie. I did get an e-mail today saying it was full and I cleared some space just now. Apparently we get notified that the message box is full only when somebody tries to send a message to us. You should be able to send it now.
