I think when I went out and went to the grocery stores and I had it in my bra, it might have been thrown off by the prosthesis I have to wear on the right side. It could have gotten behind it. I am going to watch it a few days and see if I can tell anymore about it.

Agate, I thought that even though those steps were not counted at the time that they were added in when it did start counting steps.

      I will see!

Well, it looks like ol' Howie is an inventor at heart. Inventor, dentist, car mechanic, artist, the list just goes on and on! And humble, did I mention humble?

Today I increased pool swimming to 326 yards. I wanted to go 1/4 mile which is 130 more yards, but decided it was a bad idea. No spasms yet.

Also notice that dangling legs in pool sig cuts down on neuropathy.

            Very good BBS!

Howie, have you not heard the saying "It is Hard to be Humble when you are as Great as you are"?

Oh Virginia, that fits me to a tee, as in a tee shirt. I could have it printed on the front and back. I want to look good when I'm cruising in my looking like new, PT Cruiser.

Have a tee shirt made that says:

IT IS HARD TO BE HUMBLE WHEN YOU ARE AS GREAT AS I AM!!!!!

                People will love it.

I did it! I hit a quarter mile swim in 15 minutes. Nice leisurely swim keeping legs relaxed like noodles. So far, no worse leg problems than no exercise day.

Congratulations, BBs! That's quite a feat given what you have been going through.

I swam a quarter of mile. Twitching and neuropathy the rest of the day. Drat.

I swam a quarter mile again today, no consequences yet. Yay!
I also learned how to use cruise control yesterday and that will help my legs, at least on roads with minimal stopping and minimal traffic.

Ah, these later in life skills.

I have cruise control, but never use it because my trips are so short. But on a longer drive on the Interstate, it's nice not having to keep your foot on the gas pedal.

Why BBS, I am surprised to hear you say that. I have been using cruise control since it came out, or at least the first car I had that had it on it. Just always check the manual that comes with your car if you don't know something.

Congratulations on the nice swimming job!

Things seem to be getting better, Bbs. Well done.

I did museum walking again today. We saw this show:

After that, I needed to see some color and we headed to the Impressionists. We also had lunch in the museum's courtyard.

It's a beautiful day in the low 70's. After I got home, I put the patio umbrellas up and pulled ivy, honeysuckle and other unwanted growth out of my Buddha garden and off the wall.

I am happy to feel "normal" today.
