I get a wash and blow dry every week, if I can, at a place real close.

The MS is my 6 month folliow-up. If the GI thinks this might be gastroparesis, I definitely want to see the neuro and talk to her about it, too.

I graduated from PT at the end of September. I am now debilitated and Peter and I have talked about returning to PT in January.

Virginia, Sam loves that bulldog costume. After Halloween is over, I'm going to have a hard time getting her to take it off. Oh well, I always wanted a dog anyway.

But can't Sam just go as herself? Or is she trying to make herself less scary by pretending she's just a bulldog? Then she can surprise people?

Sam's a black cat, I think? Can't imagine why she wants to dress up as anything else but maybe she's bored with the same old same old.

Well, Howie, now you have a loyal little companion who will do exactly what you want. Congratulations on the new dog! Wonder if she'll keep the name Sam?

Hope you won't call her Spot. Particularly if she doesn't have a spot.

Howie, is that Orson Welles? Is that the radio drama War of the Worlds? I don’t know it’s relationship to Halloween. Was it performed then?

Yes, it was Orson Welles doing the radio performance of H.G. Wells, War of the Worlds. It caused quite a stir when it was broadcast on Halloween night in 1938. It had people who didn't know it was a show, and were grabbing their guns, ready to fight the invaders from Mars.

The public reaction is the reason the powers that be will not disclose the fact that there are real aliens that are visiting us. Believe it or not, is up to you.

Thank you, Howie. I have heard it. I see why people were terrified.

I saw the gastroenterologist today. She does my colonoscopies (family history) so I already knew how warm and practical she is.

She thinks I should have an upper endoscopy (scheduled for Monday AM) and then move on to a gastric emptying study.

She also thinks I should just drink the Ensure already because it’s calories. Meanwhile, the Orgain came today. ;-)

My weight is holding at 139.

I’m grateful to finally have seen her and have a plan.
