Jeanie, that is wonderful. Just to get started and do whatever you can is a motivator. If you keep at it you will see a difference.

I washed two loads of linens, and dusted today. Maid came. Sometime in next couple of days I will work up the energy to vacuum.

A person does have to work up the energy for some jobs. I was going to change the bed linens and flip the mattress on Sunday but didn't feel up to it. All day yesterday I put it off but by evening I'd reached the point where I felt up to it.

It's the kind of effort my back dislikes, and my back went out on me a few days ago. It goes out again from time to time, but if I'm very careful about lifting and reaching as little as possible, I can keep it from yelping at me.

I'm proud to say that I did the bed linens AND the mattress flipping yesterday without any big back problems. It's the mattress flipping that is hard but I do this every couple of months. I'm able to flip it without lifting it but it's still a project.

That’s fantastic Jeanie! The weight lifting is done every other day, not every day. It’s important to take that day off. The lifting stresses the muscle. The next day the body repairs it. It’s what increases the muscle strength!

                  Great going Agate.

Swam 1/2 mile 30 minutes today.
Extended meeting and phone calls re the selling of house as well as Medicare have created pain and muscle stiffening all day. Hope I sleep it off tonight.

You're selling your house before your move to the new place, right?

Hope you have the house in the hands of a good broker who can show it, preferably at your convenience?

Howie had to go out every day to get ice. He’s been stepping.

You were up early this morning Ann. That was a good retort for so early in the morning.

I went to K-Mart to their pharmacy to pick up more Gabapentin, then to Fresh Market where I bought a few things, then to Harris Teeter where I bought a lot, and then to Lowe's Foods where I finished up my shopping. Took several steps myself today.
