:) I am doing between 160 and 200 stand up sit down to strengthen my legs. I am also doing 2 lb weights and a theraband to strengthen my arms. I can tell a slight improvement in my leg strength. I am in hopes I won't land on the floor again if I am stronger. Jeanie :)

:) I figure I go to the bathroom 16 times a day or more. I park the scooter in the hall and get up walk to the john and sit then get up after and walk back to the scooter and sit. Then I do three ups and downs. I am not doing a lot at any one time, just spread over 24 hours.
When I am at the computer I use the weights and the theraband a few times a day. Today I took a long shower and shampooed my hair and I feel better. I went in my pj's to Chikfila drive thru and got broiled chicken, fries, and tortilla soup. Jeanie :)

What is it w Chik-fil-a? One opened the next town south and it caused traffic jams. It has a hugh parking lot. Bigger than for any other fast food restaurant I’ve seen.

People rush to check out any new place to eat. But it will slow down after a while. I like chicken, but have never eaten there. My Granny made the best fried chicken I've ever had."Given the millions of billions of Earth-like planets, life elsewhere in the Universe without a doubt, does exist."

Try their chicken noodle soup sometime. We have them all over down here. There are two close to my house and most anytime I go by the drive-thru is really backed up. I think they are supposed to cook their chicken more healthy and I know you can get it grilled if you want to. One of the ones close to me has a side salad that is usually real good and I go through if it is not too much traffic and pick one up to go with my evening meal.Virginia

Yes, trips to the bathroom take up quite a bit of time and energy with MS, don't they? I haven't figured how many times I use the bathroom on a typical day but my guess is that it's at least 16.Originally posted by Jeanie Z View Post:) I figure I go to the bathroom 16 times a day or more. Today I went to drug store and walked around a bit finding things, then I went to Costco and walked through store to the Pharmacy, then I went to Harris Teeter and bought groceries, and then I went to Fresh Market and only bought one item but looked for others. I ran into a friend in Fresh Market and we stood for quite a while talking.
The friend I ran into is the one that I have mentioned who has a 19 year old Niece who was diagnosed with MS this year and they immediately put her on Tysabri. She has already become JCV positive and they had to pull her off of it. She has a 3 month drying out period before she starts on anything else. I think that will be up in December.Virginia

She might think about finding a new neuro. Why would the doc choose Tysabri? Isn’t Rituxan and Ocrevus safer?
Virginia, great job on the walking, standing, and participating in public life.
Today I swam 30 minutes for 1/2 mile in my 77F pool. It was about only 62 outside, so it got chilly despite lightweight neoprene. I think I will try the public pool unless the pool warms up.Last edited by Sunshine; 10-28-2018, 06:32 AM.
