We start to line up a mover for a couple of weeks from now. The inside will be done by next Friday, then window blinds go up. Most of the work now is the landscaping and pool.

Am a bit overwhelmed by the concept of moving. So much needs to be done. And planning so I have my necessities ready and at hand on Moving day..... Will just do what I can.

Hoping to have internet on day one, as it also powers my cell phone and landline.

Good November everyone! A new month, and the year is winding down.

I have a busy day tomorrow...PAYDAY. I may stay up all night so I can be at the store at 7:00, but then I have to wait for CVS to open. I'll see how it goes. One thing I'm going to order this month is an alarm clock. My old one died.

But today, I will get the one bill I have to write a check for ready to mail. And tomorrow at noon, I see my new doctor for the first time. She's a woman doctor which makes no difference to me.

Well, everyone have a great day, and month.

SAM, give me that bulldog costume, Halloween is over!!!

Peg, it sounds as if you'll be cooking for company for Thanksgiving. I hope you can make it as easy as possible for yourself so you can be rested enough to enjoy the "holiday"--it's not so much of a holiday if you're the cook/host, is it?

Sunshine, your moving plans are sounding very real and exciting. Does this mean that you'll be able to be on site to watch the way the landscaping and the pool are done? Might be good to be able to see just what they're doing to the place while they're doing it.

The last move was so daunting for me that I had to give up on doing all the packing myself. In the past I always took care of packing every last thing but this time I didn't make it, gave out, had to pay the movers to pack up the rest of the kitchen. It was really pricey but well worth it.

The pool and landscaping will be done by move in day. I don’t think we can get the CO without it...I will interview two moving companies this week. That will be hard, doing stairs to show them what’s moving!

It will be very tough to move and settle, but will be worth it. I am lucky to have this privilege.

Howie, I'd hate not having my alarm clock even though I don't use the alarm much any more. I just automatically seem to wake up at the same time every day--between 7 and 7:30, but on days when I need to get to a ride early, I set the alarm.

Speaking of time, this coming weekend is the best time of the year (IMO) because we get an hour--that is, if we've been on Daylight Saving Time.

I love having an extra hour. The bad part is having to lose an hour in spring.

It’s another day and what would that be without another doctor visit? Today was the MS Specialist. It was a very good visit and even though I feel weak I tested stronger and she was pleased w the PT that I had. The plan is to continue as we have but to let her know if the GI dx me with gastroparesis. We also booked a 6 month follow up and scheduled a Tesla 7 MRi of brain and a T 3 of spine for May.

I saw this walker while there: Only registered and activated users can see links., Click Here To Register...

After the neuro visit we went to our local, little Whole Foods. The first aisle had power bars and drinks. I noticed that they had the Orgain Vegan Protein Shake and you could just buy a single, pricey at $2.99. There was only a 12c discount if you bought the 4 pack. Still good to know it’s there.

I bought fresh tuna salad w diced Fuji apple from the salad bar and added sliced black olives and a tsp of fresh mild salsa. Yum! A tiny but excellent protein lunch.

Peg that Ocrevus must be working really working, or else you are a glutton for punishment. Having all that cooking to do on Thanksgiving would scare me. I know your son is overjoyed to have his Mom cooking for his co-workers on Thanksgiving. Always so much going on around your house.

Sunshine, I am excited for you. Now you can really tell what your inside looks like. I am sure you and DH will enjoy this new house and pool. Just what you have planned on for a long time now.

Agate, I am with you on the extra hour. I love getting it, but sure do not like giving it up in the Spring. I prefer regular time to Daylight Saving. Many people do not, but regular time makes me think of curling up in front of the fireplace with a book and just getting cozy. Daylight Saving makes me think of watching everyone else do everything that I can't do any longer. Makes me sound selfish, but actually I am not.

So glad I recommended that costume for Sam since she seems to like it so much. Now she will really like me more than Howie.

One more day of conference before heading back home tomorrow evening. David says that the walls and ceiling are done and sanded and primed and will be painted tomorrow. The woodwork that was removed for plastering has all been put back into place and painted so when I get home tomorrow night all should be repaired and just final cleaning throughout needed to tame and remove plaster dust throughout the house.

Some really great research being shared here in all areas of health care but the opioid epidemic and comorbidities associated with aging seem to be taking center stage. We shared our research on Minority Engagement in MS Research and how with two of the more recently approved MS drugs, less than 1/10th of 1% of clinical trial participants were African American and only a slightly larger number of Latinos which really does not prove that the drugs are effective in those populations and a better representation of actual population living with MS needs to be present in clinical trials going forward. There are about 1200 folks attending this conference from the US, Canada and Mexico. It is gratifying to see the language culture shift a bit more each year as researchers are speaking in more understandable language that we can easily comprehend.

I really an quite tired but tomorrow night will be back in my own bed. Home for a few days before having to go to NH for homeowner's meetings and Board of Director meetings for our vacation home then a program in RI for the MS Foundation on the 13th and one in Norwood,MA at the location ANN recommended for the Foundation on the 14th. ANN, I hope you are feeling well enough to join us that night. I have not seen you in , what...17 years?

                      Cherie, you amaze me.

I don’t know how long ago that was that you, me, Diedre and “Lurk No More” had lunch. I guess you could figure it out by the ages of Diedre’s children.

Ann, glad your Neuro visit went well and your strength is still good.

Your lunch sounded wonderful. I will look at our salad bar next time I go to WF and see if they have tuna salad. I don't recall seeing any.

Good morning all! It's payday, but I didn't get up until 8:00. The store wasn't crowded like I thought it might be. I forgot a few things, but can do without until Monday.

I went to CVS, and get home, and they forgot one. So I called, and will pick that up after my doctor visit at noon. What a busy day...for me anyway. But it's barely moving compared to some of you whirlwinds around here!

                          Everyone have a great day!

Your CVS almost always forgets one RX! What’s with them?

Good luck w your doctor’s visit.

Howie, you're sounding like one of those whirlwinds yourself. I'm still half asleep and still have to get dressed and start the laundry, and I come in here and find that you've been out shopping and are about to head out again.

Two outings in one day--that's my idea of a strenuous day.
