Cat, you have had a lot of snow this year. I hate the snow/rain mix when it turns to ice. Glad you are back to your "normal".

Winter often lasts nearly 6 months for you people in the Midwest as I recall. That's a lot of winter and doesn't leave much spring.

I an so afraid we are going from Winter to Summer and I don't want that. I want some Spring weather. It is not hot now, but we have had some extremely warm days when it got up to 80 or a little above. I don't like that this time of year. The 60s and low 70s for this time of year would be alright, but no higher, and actually I wouldn't mind if those days waited to come in March and April instead of February.

I do not like all the rain we have had. It has been much to much. It is hard to find a time when I can walk out on the deck to empty the trash because it is so wet.

More dreary rain today. I am just reading. It is forecast to rain through Sunday. Sunday is to be warmer but still rainy. I wish we could ship some water to some dry areas of the country.

Tomorrow I am planning to go to a retirement party for my sister-in-law. I think it is going to be just family, all hers and all my brothers. It will be the first time I have been out since I went to Doctor Monday. Not looking forward to it because of all the rain.

I went to pharmacy to pick up medicine. It was raining so hard and cold. I am going to the retirement get together this evening, but wish I did not feel the need to go. One of my brothers was sick earlier in the week and now his wife must have caught something from him because she is not going. My nephew was telling me that almost everyone was sick including his sister who is going to be there. I will just try to stay away from everyone and wash my hands often.

After that I have to try and go to the grocery store. I didn't want to go when I was out earlier. The rain was so hard and I would have had all those groceries to bring in, so if I have to get wet I would rather it be after the retirement thing. She is having other retirement parties later, people at work, people at church, organizations she belongs to, so maybe this will not have to last too long.

You will just have to sneak between the raindrops Virginia. It will be nice to be with people. Right? I spend days in the house. It is such a pain to go anyplace. It was very muddy on the farm for a long time and now there is an ice landscape. Funny that there has not been a huge snowstorm here but I am still stuck in the house.

:) I am housebound by lack of energy. I did go to Jim's today. My ex is here and Torre cooked dinner and took it to Jim's since I can't get up the stairs to her condo. The food was very good and I enjoyed being with our family without Carla's parents there.

We talked about old times and events and it was really nice. My ex looks bad, very pale, skinny and very wrinkled. He and Sarah are vegetarians. Tonight he ate roast and veggies, etc.

On the way home I stopped at Publix for a few items. I'm glad to be home. Jeanie :)

Jeanie, has the PT started yet? If so, how is it going? Is that one of the reasons your energy is so low or do you think deconditioning is making it worse? I am concerned for you.

:) No PT yet. I will call the doctor Monday and see if there is any progress. Andy came and I asked him to trim my toenails. I hated asking but I just can't do it well. He did a good job on them.

My iLife robot vacuum is doing the house.

I have slightly more energy since I increased my vitamins. I hope the PT will make me stronger. Jeanie :)

I really hope so too, Jeanie.

                      Are you still taking LDN?

If so, I wonder if you might have had a bad batch?

Glad you're letting the auto vacuum do the work!

Jeanie, I am glad to hear you see some improvement. Which vitamins did you increase?

At 3;30 am i awoke with my ankle twisted 45 degrees to the right, ouch— I was able to put some pressure on it, much like you do a Charlie horse by standing up, but I sat on the edge of bed and did it on the floor, since I didnt want a repeat falling down and hitting my head from doing this maneuver.

It took the wind out of my sails . Its the second one this month. ... Thats often how it starts....

Was able to drive 5 mins to Publix, swam 20 minutes under DH supervision and he took off the cover.

I have been having to use R2D2 a lot this past several days. The initial boost from IVIG seems to have washed out.

Cataract #2 is mid week, with pre op tomorrow and follow up the day after surgery. DH will take me to the surgery since I am taking Ativan to prevent a spasm during surgery.

Hope the second cataract surgery will go well, Sunshine. Has there been any improvement in your vision since the first cataract procedure?

:) I increased vitamin D3 and C. Adele Davis says to take 4000 daily of C to stop a cold. I've had the cold over a month so it is worth a shot. The LDN was a refill I got at a different pharmacy (Boca) and used it instead of getting another refill from The Compounder.

It might have a different filler. I have ordered again. Jeanie :)

I hope those vitamins help you Jeanie! Keep on evaluating your D3 levels via blood work, because you can have too much D3 in your body. My neuro does that. He had me on 2000 IU of D3 daily. It got too high. So he cut me back to 5 times per week and that put me ion the right shooting range.

Yes, my vision improved after several days and the eye settled down agate.

I know I will miss being able to read with no glasses after the next surgery. I will have to wear cheaters. Oh well, its a small price to pay for my vision improving immeasurably in other ways.... Gotta take the bad with the good: such is life.

                                Jeanie,
Cherie’s comment asking you if deconditioning May be making your exhaustion worse is a great question. It is probably true for me right now and I have been talking to myself to gather th discipline I need to keep on track. I think this happens to me every winter!
