Humor is all in the timing agate :)
Two people could deliver the same line, one is not so funny, the other is falling down laughing funny :)

Never would’ve guess Cat was a comedienne! Curmudgeon and Comedienne!

Thank you for sharing that story. Right now, I can imagine Cat and Peg together laughing about that moment, while exchanging recipes.

Happy Birthday, Peg ~ I'm thinking of and praying for your family today.

      Love & Light,

I just hope TC has a lot of support. I am concerned about him. At least Farmer Joe had his and Peg's two boys and the grandchildren.

Agate, maybe you will hear from him again soon. I do recall that they had close friends that they had had since college, so it is a possibility that they are there with him right now. I think some of them got together when Cat was able.

I had a message from TC. He says there will be "an in-house service here in mid-October." He will give details later.

EDITED TO ADD: He was able to read this thread after a neighbor helped him by showing him how. The neighbor is someone he and Catdancer have known since college.

I have TC's permission to share this:

It's me Ann's husband Ralph. ... I have friends that have shown up to help me through some of this, including getting into Ann's computer. I'm the meantime I'm trying to get things cleaned up. Sometimes it's overwhelming. I want to thank folks from the Brain Talk who have sent me cards of condolences. ... Ann seems to have touched many of you in a positive way, as she has with many people I will know about. She was quite the lady, & strongly into supporting many social causes. Sometimes I don't know what she saw in me, with my limited social & intellectual skills. I'm glad all of you knew her, & could share lifetime experience s with each other. I have yet to set up some kind of memorial service with her. ... Among the things she did that your group may or may not know she was the following: first president of Milwaukee county League of Women Voters, chapter secretary & President of The Prairie Enthusiast, WI 2012-2013 & active in the [local] library, etc. Again, if you like I'll keep in touch with you & your members. Take care.

:) Ralph please do stay in touch. Over the years of posting with Cat we felt like we knew you a little from some her comments.

I am glad your friends are helping you. It is very hard to do alone. When my David died in 2013 I only had help a few times and it was so much easier with company. Take good care of yourself. Jeanie :)

Thank you so much for posting Ralph. I had much respect for Ann. She was an amazing and genuine person and it came through in her posts.

Of course this is overwhelming. The first year or two are the hardest. ...I am glad you are letting people take care of you
