I'll mention that to him--though he seems hesitant about anything having to do with computers or the Internet.
It isn't so very difficult here once you register here, though.Last edited by agate; 11-15-2019, 10:09 AM.SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.

A message from Ralph. It was replying to a message where I had mentioned her recipes here:
People on BrainTalk often refer to Ann's recipes, which she very kindly posted sometimes. She must have been an excellent cook. It was so kind of her to share some recipes with us.I replied and encouraged him to join this forum. I mentioned that everyone here would welcome him.Ah, Ann's cooking & baking was the best. Way better than either of our mothers ever made. I do make some of her shortbread, & may try the lemon curd jam. I'll definitely miss her plum pudding & rum sauce she made most winters for the holidays. She was cooking something new all the time. Up to the last month, she always cooked a fine meal at noon. Before she past, she got me into doing stir fries. I need to get back at that. That's a nice balanced meal. Take care. ...
Being able to cook for yourself is a huge plus!. Sometimes Ann posted menus of meals she had prepared for company or occasions, and truly they sounded like a feast.--If you'd ever like to become a member of the

Another message from TC (Ralph):
Sounds as if we can be on the lookout for him.I may just take you up on registering for the Brain Talk board. Ah, an overcast day again, but no real precipitation today or in the near forecast. Just hanging around freezing right now. I'm keeping the eating going, with a good balance on raw vegetable s & fruit, but it's a chore without company; even with the cats participating, unwantedly .Take care, TC..SPMS diagnosed 1980. From Ralph (I've deleted part that was a tad political):
Anyone know about conference calls? I'm afraid I haven't a clue. Is this something people on this board could be part of?Hi Agate, I take Agate is chat name, aye? Well things are going slow here, & after almost a week without rain or snow, we're having both today. I'm hoping the snow will be light & over by tonight. I'm going to be going to be taking an 82 mile drive to my niece's house for Thanksgiving . My 85 yr old sister, hubby, some of her children & grandchildren will be there. It's been years since I've seen most of them. We're of different mind sets, so it's awkward talking with them. ...It's a interesting group. I'll do my best to be a nice guest. Maybe sometime, if you are interested, I'll explain to you how I got where I am. My experiences with friends from diverse ethnic & religious groups has given me a broad outlook. It's how Ann & i got together. Now I hope your having a fine Thanksgiving Day with friends & family tomorrow. I'll post you again in a few days. I finally got a memorial service program set for December 15th, between 2-5 PM as a conference call. TCSPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. :) I have no idea what a conference call is or how to do it. Thank you for posting Ralph's message. I am glad he will have a family Thanksgiving.
I'd like to skip mine but I am going. Jim and Carla have several church friends who will be there one couple even with a toddler.
I will probably eat and leave shortly after. I hope all of you have a nice Thanksgiving. Be careful if driving. Jeanie :)

So glad Ralph is able to drive so far and be with family. Maybe it will work out better than he thinks as far as conversation goes.
Jeanie, I hope you feel better and can stay a little longer at Jim's.
I plan to be right here, hopefully with a book. No special food planned, but I will find something nice to eat.Virginia

A conference call might be like a teleconference?
I've taken part in some teleconferences, some years ago. They were MS topics. You registered in advance and had to be on the phone at a certain time, maybe with a special code number to sign in, and you listened to the people discussing on the phone. Since I didn't want to say anything, I can't recall if I'd have been able to talk--or just listen.SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009.
